J.M. Gerrish Cafe

We both enjoyed it here. My milkshake was to kill for. My wife's butternut squash soup was amazing. The sandwich and salad were as expected, although the bread was excellent. The waitress was a real sweetheart.

Enjoyed the atmosphere, clam chowder and lobster rolls so much came back for breakfast! Best blueberry pancakes and hubby had a delicious lobster omelette. Would definitely come back again.

Very good local cafe for breakfast or lunch, breakfast burrito was very good. Well worth stopping here if passing through this charming village

Delightful cafe, makes you feel like you stepped back in time. I did not order food, but it all looked very good. Breakfast and lunch items. You can sit indoors or outdoors. Had a small cup of ice cream. It was some of the best I have had in Maine. Very good. Will be back to try the food.

Went this morning with my husband, the food was some of the best I've had downeast. They were super friendly and good at accommodating for my gluten allergy. They even had gluten free bread. The tuna melt was delicious, full off celery and other veggies and the tuna itself tasted great, much fresher tasting then other tuna melts I've had! 10/10

A lovely gem of a breakfast place we found while exploring Winter Harbor. Everything was soooo good from my blueberry pancakes and cappuccino to my husbands omelette and coffee! Friendly, clean and pleasant atmosphere and terrific waitress!!

So glad to have found this Cafe. The waitress was one of the most delightful and helpful we've ever had. Food was really great, very reasonable, and quickly delivered. Nice porch dining. A quintessential Down East Cafe. Will return at every opportunity.

As a tourist Winter Harbor is the home to J.M. Gerri’s Cafe. It is unique in that the menu has locally sourced food….especially nice is their Blueberry Pie 🥧 with ice cream and the Lobster Roll. The staff is friendly and offers their suggestions…she was spot on🦞.

Best naked Lobster roll! Everything on the menu is excellent, especially the blueberry chicken salad special. Great atmosphere and outdoor pet friendly tables. Can't miss for breakfast, lunch or just a cappuccino & pie!

It was hard to decide what to get because of the diverse and interesting menu. I settled on the clam chowder and rueben sandwich. Eating outside was a treat and the food was excellent. The staff was pleasant and attentive. We would definitely return again.

True small town charm, no expense spared when it comes to the quality of coffee. Danish and muffins are fresh and amazing. Service was great.

Ice Cream was delicious! Ice Cream for a family of 5 for under $17. Also, we had good, fast service.

I had the Fishermen's breakfast sandwich and it was huge and tasty! The service was super fast and the staff was really friendly and fun. It was only open the day we were leaving but I would've loved to have visited more to try the other things on the menu.

We visited GM Gerrish twice - once for lunch and once for breakfast. The atmosphere is great in the quaint town of Winter Harbor and the food was excellent as well. Service was very friendly.

Down east lunch is the perfect size and such a good deal! Blueberry pie was delicious esp with ice cream.
