Our dog became ill and needed surgery. Drs. Temm were both very caring and understanding of the situation and went above and beyond in the care of our dog. The entire staff was great. Cannot say enough how much we appreciated their kindness.

Best Vet in the area. They have cared for all my family pets, since I was a child. In sickness & in health- they are always CARING & fair. Particularly when I comes to pricing, during bad health patches.

I have a reactive dog & they are always patient with her. Allowing the the lobby to be clear for us to walk in and out. I trust them with my most loved fur babies.

There is no one I trust more with my furkids than the amazing Dr. Temm (x2).

My moms Pomeranian ate something accidental and had seizures. They took care of her for 4 days and were so heartfelt and amazing. The price was unbelievably economical…not sure how they do it. HIGHLY recommend!!!!

We absolutely adore coming here for visits! They are so friendly from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave! Staff is super fun, kind and caring.

We leave each appointment in good spirits and feel that we have had the best care, and can trust them!

My dogs are both very comfortable when we arrive, and behave so well for them.

I cannot recommend this veterinary hospital enough. My cat's regular vet, when asked three separate times, would not fit her in for a same-day emergency appointment and wouldn't bother to call back to tell me. York County Veterinary Hospital, however, took us, as new patients, not only same-day, but within an hour of me calling! We definitely have found our new vet! Highly recommended! Professional, friendly, and thoughtful!

We can't say enough about the wonderful doctors and staff at York County Vet! We are visiting Kennebunk and our precious dog got sick. They worked us in to their very busy day with smiles for us and hugs for our dog. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

This place is absolutely amazing along with thier very friendly staff they have cute office cat to greet you when coming in. Our dog got cancer & over night got so bad he could no longer walk. He was 120lbs so getting him to the office would have been incredibly hard. I called there & explained the situation & the vet & two vet hands came to my house about 2 hours later. My dog was put down in the comfort of our home with the whole family. They made a very hard situation much easier to deal with. They were incredibly kind & caring. We will not see another vet as long as they're open after how incredibly heartfelt & easy such a hard situation went with them. We highly recommend this vet & his team. They also took Jax's to be cremated for us as well. We sense have gotten a new dog. But unfortunately with saving a dog from a puppy mill she had many issues- we then learned not only were they amazing they were incredibly cheap. So you get amazing help for a affordable price from very kind knowledgeable people. They are by far the best around.

Dr. Temm is gentle and kind to all of his patients. You can tell he is a true animal lover no matter what type. From puppy to dog, kitten to cat or any animal that walks through his front door will receive his undivided attention and his years of experience to make sure your pet is taken care of. A true doctor that cares, his prices are reasonable for the quality of care you receive.

Last year my dog was injured while playing on the beach on a Saturday morning. These kind folks not only took us right in, but treated us as well as they treated our dog.

You need to understand we were typical tourists. These folks could so easily have taken advantage of us, but they didn't. We would have paid whatever was necessary to help our beloved dog, no questions asked.

Instead our options were explained to us, and we left with a bottle of paid medication to give the dog a couple weeks of "wait and see", before we did something drastic and expensive. Everything worked out splendidly.

We are so impressed with the York Count Vet, that we have actually made the 80+ mile trip to have our dog seen there for non emergency ailments you get with an old yellow lab. I cant say enough nice about these folks.

Dr. Temm is number one in book. I been taking my animals to York County because there is no one better then Dr.Temm. He is nice and polite and truly cares not only about the animals but also the owners. Because of Dr. Temm our king Charles Cavalier lived 10.6 years. She was very sick and Dr. Temm saved her. Thank you Dr.Temm and thank you to all that work with and for Dr. Temm. You are all wonderful people. Thank you

Scheduling was easy. They were very accomodating. Facility was spotless and they followed all the CDC guidlines in ref to Covid-19. A minimal waiting period in my vehicle. They treated my cat and seemed to really care about her health. I will definetly return there for all my cats care.

Best vet we have ever been to. We moved a few hours away but still make the trip up to York a few times a year! Dr. Temm is great. Smart and fair on prices! Highly recommend this vetinary practice!

Dr. Temm took great care of my cat Charlie for many years. When my cat died of old age, Dr. Temm was so kind and considerate. He is also excellent with dogs. Recently he diagnosed my Chocolate Lab with arthritis and throughly explained the X-ray results.

Dr. Temm is as wonderful with people as he is with animals. As a vet who truly loves animals and takes the time to explore and explain his medical recommendations to his human clients, he seems like a rare breed of veterinarian! :)

I would give him 11 stars of out 10.
