Dollar General

Okay, here's the scoop. It is junkie. It is disorganized but not messy. Some items are in multiple but completely unrelated places. Look and you might find. LOL
All that aside, this Dollar General Store has a decent variety of items from food and beverages to toiletries to household items to toys and beyond. If you need it you just might find it here, within reason of course.
The staff here seems friendly enough
I've not had the occasion to ask for help but I have an idea shoppers will fare better by simply looking for their shopping wants & needs.
The times I've been in it was steady but not horribly busy. I was in and out quickly and experienced little to no wait when ready to checkout.
I like shopping here. But each has to go try it then decide if it is for them or not.

I live in Lyman and needed a can of pineapple. They had it right at the counter for me when I got there 10 mins later! I love small town stores!

My family loves this store! Always great finds at great prices. The store is very convenient to have in Lyman! the cashiers are always very nice, especially Darcy and the store manager (Sorry I cannot remember her name but she is always there). They always are so sweet and always ask if you need help finding anything and always have a smile on their faces.They even remember my three year old son, he loves going in there and seeing them. If I could give ten stars I would, especially for Darcy and the store manager.

The staff, kind and friendly, all of them!!! ! I love Dollar General anyway, but its definitely better when the staff is great! Every single one of the staff I have personally encountered in the Lyman, Maine store have been pleasant! I definitely recommend this store! Prices are great, and the product selection is awesome!

I have never been to this Dollar before today and as soon as i got out of my truck and was greeted by a super nice and friendly helpful employee her name is Darcy she was just a joy to talk to and she was so willing to help me find what I was looking for and she was also very busy doing her job but she also was willing to help her customers and that’s not common now a days people don’t care about being a nice and friendly person what does it really take to just make someone’s day by being nice and I also think that if you are someone who is working with the public then you need to just suck it up and deal with it!!!!

There is a very special employee that works there, her name is Darcie. She is very friendly and helpful. She brightens the store and your day. Thank you, Darcie for being so nice... To everyone and great customer service. 😀

I have been going to the Dollar General for 2 years now the store has everything in it and the food has brand names also the store brand which is very compatible to the brand names that store has utensils for your kitchen towels clothes jeans Sox dog food that store has oil mechanical stuff everything but tires I was very amazed at how much stuff that store has in it and I will keep shopping there and the prices are decent I don't think there's another small store around that can beat the Dollar General forget Family Dollar they can't compare

Emily was very polite and knows the layout of her store well. She directed me right to where I needed to be so I didn't have to wander around I was in and out in no time

Frequently visit this place. Love it! Tons of odds and ends but also great place to shop for birthdays parties and Christmas. Love their online system for coupons. Frequent sales.

5 star customer service at this Dollar General. I can not say enough good comments about the employees that work there. Excellent!
