Ferry Beach State Park

Price is right at $7, plenty of parking. The State Park officer at Reception incredibly helpful and hospitable.

This is a great place to come by yourself, with a friend, bring your family or take your pet for a walk! *Just, please, pick up after your dog!* There are many walking trails, all clearly marked and labeled for easy access and the novice trail walker. Also, they offer picnic tables, restrooms and beach access during the on-season. Even when the gate is down; people are still welcome to walk the trails at their leisure! Park workers and volunteers kindly ask that you pick up after yourself when using the Park Grounds. Enjoy! *Pictures were taken from Google Images, they are not my photos!*

Beautiful beach! Only checked out a bit of the trail system but what we did see was really well maintained.

Nice beach, restroom, drinking fontaine, changimg Room, etc. nearby. Less crowded than other nearby beachs

Ok reading about this place at first I thought too good to be as advertised. First impression was wow nice parking for handicap and regular. Bathrooms were very nice and open during all warmer weather.

The path down to beach is very accessible for any wheelchair. Not crowded clean area with a lifeguard stand ( wasn't used while I was here)

Many seashells for kids to collect benches to sit on AAA rating from me.

Only thing I did see was a very strong riptide but as a seasoned beach goer I know those can happen anywhere. Just keep your eyes peeled.

A simple beautiful beach + a clean public restroom + pretty wakes.

It is a state park, so you do have to pay for the entrance. As a veteran you get to enter for free. They have picnic tables, grills that you can use. Bathrooms, showers and places to change clothes. The beach is clean and beautiful, definitely would recommend it. They allow gigs during the off season.

The beach is very clean, there are bathrooms and outdoor showers, and the picnic area is great.

Beautiful clean pup friendly place. Went at 6 pm and parked in an affordable small parking lot across the street.

I absolutely love it here! The only con is they never have enough toilet paper, so you need to bring your own! Everyone who comes here is so friendly!

Beautiful sandy beach with a great view. Wasn't very crowded so it was really peaceful and relaxing.

Price is per person, not per car, which can be a bit steep if you’ve got multiple people with you. Bathrooms were clean and I frequently saw an employee walking the beach to collect trash.

We arrived around 10 am on a July Sunday and the beach was still fairly quiet. It definitely picked up by noon, but everyone was respectful - no blasting music, no screaming kids. I’d go again!

I love that the beach also has a few nature trails to explore! The beach itself was clean and the water was crystal clear, definitely coming back soon! 😎

If you're a Senior, You get in Free. It's Beautiful and So Relaxing. Bring a plastic bag to collect shells and small pieces of driftwood. Hope to see you there.

A lovely white sand beach. A great public access point with parking. If you get tired of being in the sun then there are many trails through the woods.

We went here just as a break from a road trip home from Maine. As seniors it was only $2 and we got in a nice 1 mile hike with our dog an very well maintained wooded loop trail and then ate picnic on benches and used their very well maintained out house type facilities. We were not allowed to go on beach with our dog but that was not what we wanted to do. Just have a nice relaxing break and opportunity to stretch our legs with a walk

Really love the trails! very peaceful and nice park the beach was nicee and quiet on a holiday weekend.
it has bathroom and a place to rinse off the sand.
