I have used Paul and his team at Pjs Plumbing service a couple of times and have been very happy with their service. The first time I used them was earlier this year and it was for an urgent sewage leak. They were prompt, knowledgeable, and showed great communication letting me know what the problems were and how they would troubleshoot. They were very mindful of keeping the area clean during the repair. They even went the extra mile by using Clorox to clean up after themselves. Not only was their service effective, but their pricing was also very reasonable, especially compared to other companies in the area.
Given my positive first experience, I decided to use them again just last week when one of our water heaters leaked in the basement. Having Paul’s cell number saved in my contacts, I called him in the morning to discuss the issue. I sent photos and they arrived and replaced my water heater by the end of the day. I highly recommend PJ's plumbing service for anyone in need of a reliable and professional plumber. They will be my go to plumbers in the future.

Same day service to fix my clogged sink! While they were here my wife had them address a number of little things and when they left, everyone was happy. Glad to have worked with PJ’s.

PJ's is definitely the most professional plumbing business that I have encountered...and I have needed to call on plumbers quite a few times, as an "older" home owner of nearly 25 years. PJ's has always been great about getting someone out to diagnose and solve our plumbing issues as soon as we call. Their staff is responsive, polite, and works well together, to get the job done! They are great about explaining what they are doing and why. We have had PJ's to our house multiple times, and will continue to call them for any plumbing issues we encounter in the future! I would definitely recommend them!

On a Saturday our plumbing would not work and all we got were voicemails until we called PJs. An angel was sent to us that day because with 2 elderly parents living with us, how could we not flush toilets. Paul was efficient worked hard to get us back up and running. We had them plumb our new construction home, complete with a 1 yr warranty. We discovered an issue 6months ago where the hot water wasn't consistent in our bath and showers. Paul sent out someone 3 times, each time performing a simple fix and saying "if it's still not working right, just let us know".

The 4th time they sent out the vendor who sold the hot water heater, without my knowing; suddenly I got a call from a company I'm not familiar with, telling me they're coming out to look over the heater. Would've been nice to get the heads up, Paul.

Still the hot water was running cool after 15min. My husband finds that a check valve doesn't seem to be working properly. I message Paul and he tells me it's not the valve but no one had assessed it.. 🤔 He then says to contact my builder (which he knows is impossible at this point for separate reasons). He won't return calls or emails. I put a pin in this for a couple months to work on more pressing things.

I just contacted him and he was so quick to reply and friendly! Turns out he forgot who I was and asked for my name number and address and scheduled someone for the next day, 2hr window. No one showed, called or emailed. My best guess is he pulled up our file and promptly decided to ghost us. I called and emailed multiple times to no reply. I took hours out of my day for them to come and fix this issue and they didn't show.. what a trashy move. Completely rude and unprofessional and our warranty is still good for another 2 months. We paid him in full and he did not hold his end of the bargain. I'm reporting him to every bureau and vendor we used.

Oh, and we hired a real reputable plumber who came out day-of, and he verified the check valve was stuck and is fixing it as we speak. Save the headache and find someone else... this guy is too busy taking people to collections and making up arbitrary numbers (per the other reviews)😂

I am writing a review to warn potential customers of PJ Plumbers “Project Billing” so they are not shocked like I was when the bill is presented and the price is out of line. If you plan to work with them get their “Project Price” before they do the work.

I was a customer of PJ Plumbers years ago but last year I called them to do a simple job. In the past they billed out time and materials and the labor rate was $130 or $140/ hour.
In 2023 I called them out to replace 2 toilet seals and put a new kitchen sink fixture into an 11 year old kitchen sink. I provided the kitchen sink fixture, PJ Plumbing provided the 2 toilet seals (Toilet seals are $10 each on Amazon)
They sent 2 plumbers and the total time was under 1 ½ hours (3 man hours). During the fixture install 1 Jr. plumber did the work and the Sr. plumber coached him through it for 35 minutes.

The bill was $896.70!! For 2 toilet seals installed and a fixture install (I provided the new fixture) that went right in.

I expected a time and materials bill of maybe $600 maximum =($59 trip charge, Materials $20, 3 hours labor $525 @ $175/hr.)

I spoke with the owner Paul and asked how did you come up with almost $900 for a maybe $600 job??? His explanation was that they are now “Project Billing” so regardless of the time they put in, this project costs approximately $900. They did not state up front that they are no longer time and materials as they had always been.

So Warning, get a quotation first or be shocked later with a "Project Bill" that is excessive….

By the way, the owner’s solution was to give a free trip charge for the next visit, however, I won’t be using them in the future.

Will not honor home owners warranty, will not honor their own warranty that they publicly address with their pricing. Went to them to cover a gel coat failure on my tub. At 1st Paul acknowledged that the gel coat had failed based on the information and pictures and said I need to go through my builder to get this taken care of. But my MBA and builders warranty documents say to go to the plumber for plumbing issues and call them directly. . When I mentioned that they immediatetly backed down and said it isn't a warrantable item and they didn't say the gel coat failed and said that I will have to pay to have it repaired. Was extremely rude and said this is how its going to go down. Great sales pokerface but aweful customer care from Paul who I talked with directly. The only reason they don't honor this is because of a soured relationship with the builder at the time in which PJs are suing. Because of this we have to suffer. It only became and issue when I mentioned who our builder was.

Do not use pj plumbing. They rip you off! Absolutely the worst. I recommend JR plumbing! They atleast will charge you fairly!

Well I thought PJs was good, but the same thing happened within three months. This time I tried a different plumber who took the time to do it right versus getting the water to run through and then leaving. I'm not sure they even ran a camera down the sewer to see what was actually happening. Also, I told them I had my sewer lined and never once was an alternative to the traditional snake suggested. Luckily the clog was just outside my house because if they ran the snake down it would have wrecked my liner. They were nice, but I wish the job was done right the first time, so I'm not paying to have it done right a second time.
