Wonderful venue for movies or plays like today's "Mrs. Kelly's Journey Home." If you missed this delightful play then be sure to get tickets to see it Mother's Day weekend! It's a great play for family caregivers. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤💯

Nice establishment with classy, classic decor. The show a lot of different types of movies. Something for everyone and very affordable.

Nostalgic, charming, welcoming. Have gone to the Penn theatre in Plymouth since the late 60's even though I grew up on the west side of Detroit. Even 50 years later, now living in Rochester Hills, there still exists a strong bond between us with so many wonderful memories both then and even now. Just saw West Side Story there tonight. The people of Plymouth know exactly what they have, a true bastion of the past that has not been turned into a parking lot but allowed to remain a glimpse of paradise.

Downtown Plymouth is absolutely wonderful, and the Penn Theatre is part of the fabric that makes the area so inviting. My kids enjoyed National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, and enjoyed being able to stroll around Kellogg Park before and after the show. Great staff, great prices, and a great experience.

Such a great theater to come to! They had the 80s movies playing throughout the summer. Such a great experience to be able to share with the girl I watch! She made it even more fun by dressing as a character for each movie. The staff at the Penn were absolutely amazing as well and made her day even better and brighter by always being excited to see her and encourage her. They also surprised her with tickets so she could get in for free for the movies. So amazing! The prices are more than reasonable for the shows as well as the concessions. Everybody who works here is so friendly. I wish every movie could be seen here. It's the best theater in town!

There's something to be said for a place that looks pretty much the same as it did 30+ years ago when my Grandma use to bring me here as a kid. The prices haven't changed all that much in that time either, so that's a bonus. Very charming, old, single-screen theater. Line up early if you want seats together.

Such a lovely historic theater, right in downtown. Heavy draperies, plush seating (with cup holders!) Still current movies are shown, and the theater gets fairly full, but not to selling out.

Tickets and expected movie theater type snacks are CASH ONLY, but cheap! (Snacks are cheap only in comparison to typical movie theater prices.)

2hr street parking right in front is usually available and perfect for a movie.

Great theatre run by wonderful people with great staff!! Concession is reasonably priced, and you can't beat $3 a ticket. Note cash is only form of payment.

It was nice to see Home Alone on the Big Screen. Tickets were cheap. Pop corn and pop did not cost an arm and a leg. Over all my date with my wife was cheap for this day and age.. We had a really good time and even walked around down town and looked at the Christmas lights. Just a nice evening.

Love the Penn! Ok, it's not fancy and updated like other theaters, but the price is good, and I like the old fashion type vibe. It's in the heart of downtown Plymouth so there is plenty to do and see many times when we go.

We absolutely love this theater! The price is right and having only one choice for a movie takes the guess work out of it. Never had a bad experience.

Saw back to the future here. Was a free show. They moved everyone quickly inside and in the snack line. It was packed. They were so nice and thanked everyone for coming back to the theater after being closed for so long during covid. Not your most state of the art theater like the ones with the heated seats but if you want that classic theater feel from when you were a kid. Go here. They show classics and second runs I believe so prices are good.

Wonderful atmosphere and the lighting is superb. Gives the theater that good old night out at the movies feeling. This is one place that everyone should visit, at least once in their life!

Beautiful, nostalgic, one screen theater (circa 1941). Enjoy recent films for $5. Seating capacity is 400 and usually sell out! Great downtown location, on the park, surrounded by restaurants in the quaint community of Plymouth, Michigan!⚘
