Great place for takeout! Local, family-owned, generous portions and affordable. I most recently had the Sesame chicken combo meal, and my husband had the Orange chicken. Both dishes were great. FYI - the Orange chicken comes with some veggies mixed in (broccoli, carrots and baby corn).

Best Chinese in the south metro by far. Prices are great considering the amount of food. Young lady at the front is very nice and funny!

Tak Shing is my favorite Chinese restaurant in the whole Twin Cities. They cook everything just the way I like it. The Egg Foo Yong is excellent, along with the Sa Dae and Szechuan. It’s refreshing to find these dishes without onions. The staff are very kind and remember their regulars by name.

I’m really picky about Chinese food but after seeing the ratings we gave it a try and it was great! Good portion sizes, cheap prices and good quality. We got the sweet and sour chicken, lemon chicken, beef and broccoli combination meals, Singapore noodles and homemade egg rolls and everything was delicious. The chicken was white meat and perfectly battered and fried. Definitely our new go-to spot!

Simply my favorite Chinese restaurant of all time. The Chicken Lo Mein is *chefs kiss* I love it so much and I crave it. The employees are awesome and consistent. They are always so fast and reasonably priced. I can't wait to dine-in again!

I have been a customer since before 1990 and I live 40 miles away. I will not go anywhere else for Chinese food. Once you have found perfection, why bother looking elsewhere? These people are friendly and attentive and their food is superlative. I have enjoyed eating there and picking up food to bring home. In all these years I have never had any problems or complaints except that I desperately wish that they would deliver to me. If you are looking for a Chinese restaurant that will keep you coming back, look no further! This place is the best there is and you will not be disappointed! 10 out of 10 stars!

Our go-to Chinese takeout. The staff are so nice and helpful. Their food is always fresh and delicious. Eat here at least monthly. Great rewards program too.
Some of our favorites are the Sweet and Sour chicken, sesame chicken, cream cheese puffs and their soups are delicious too. We will continue being loyal customers.

I have my personal favorites in the area, but my coworker was placing an order and I decided to go in and I was truly impressed. Very good flavor and it is now my favorite. Very affordable and highly recommended.

This is quite literally one of the best Chinese takeout food spots I have discovered in Minnesota.... Including some amazing places in the twin cities. The hubby and I have tried just about everything and have yet to find anything we don't love. I'm pretty critical when it comes to good food in general, but I have had zero issue's with anything we have ordered.

Their customer service is amazing and the ladies that are always at the front counter are the sweetest! They always let us know to try to come in before 2pm for their amazing lunch combo specials!

We live in Webster and make the 25 minute trek (almost 55 minute round trip) just for this little spot. If you haven't checked them out yet, please give them a shot if you're looking for some tasty food! Their pork fried rice is lovely along with any version of their Lo Mein, and they have some pretty great cream cheese puffs.

We were really impressed with this restaurant! Server was great very fast efficient and friendly! Place was very clean and neat. But the best was the delicious food. Very fresh with tons of meat and vegetables. Was a great all around experience and we will definitely be back soon!!

Tak Shing has been a staple of Lakeville for a very long time and is my local go-to for Chinese style cuisine. The food is consistently good and I've never had a bad meal here. The staff is always friendly as well. Although I do wish they'd bring back the punch cards 😭

Super friendly and helpful staff. I don't know why I waited so long to try this place. Food is great! Large lunch portions for less than a drive-thru meal. If I'm not eating Vietnamese food, Tak Sting is my new go-to for take out. Food coma is taking over otherwise I'd write more. So full, so happy!

I've been a customer here since I was 6 years old when we found it. I'm 30 now and still have never found another Chinese restaurant with as great a food as theirs! We usually always order it to go but the restaurant is comfy too. I rec. the shrimp fried rice, lemon chicken and egg rolls--everything else is great as well. I hope they never close!!!

Best Chinese food I have had since moving to south suburbs of Minneapolis. Have tried a few but all were bland, not this place. Pork lo mein was very good. Singapore rice noodles or mei fun (asked for extra spicy) was delicious, lots of pork, shrimp, veggies, and with perfect heat. Sweet and sour chicken was pretty average, probably better options in the menu.

This is the best Chinese restaurant possibly in Minnesota. Everything tastes amazing. I usually get some type of chicken with fried rice. Usually Kung Po. They give decent size portion of meat which is always nice. Don't eat meat? Well, my wife usually orders same thing but asks for Tofu instead and it is actually unbelievable. Very difficult to get good tofu at a Chinese restaurant but they cook it to perfection each time we've ordered. Our in-laws are huge meat eaters and they actually wanted seconds of the tofu before the meat. I am sure it depends on what flavor you ask for but every other Chinese place Tofu is blah and cooked wrong. Hoping they don't change how they cook the tofu.

King Pau Beef, prepared with medium heat was fantastic. Service is always top notch. Our server was very attentive and always had a smile.

Definitely will keep coming back!

I have been eating at Tak Shing since I was a teenager and my family and I always consider it a treat. Their Chicken Fried Rice is especially good. A nice restaurant to try if you are new to Lakeville, always nice to return to when you're back in town:)

Tak Shing is my #1 Chinese food restaurant. This isn't your typical Chinese food restaurant with the food pictures up on the wall. Tak Shing does a great job offering the usual American Chinese food classics but in their own way. My go to order is their "Z Combo" - Sesame Chicken with White Rice (spicy option) and it comes with a couple cream cheese wontons. I love the larger portion size but realistically you could share 1 combo between two people. The service is fast and the people are friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is venturing down to the South Metro.

We just ate here for the first time. This place is a diamond in the rough. There's really no decor to speak of, but the food was excellent (piping hot and fresh!) and the customer service was even better! Those are the most important things anyway. The prices are also very reasonable. We've finally found our go-to for Chinese!
