Wayzata Children's Clinic

We love Wayzata Children’s Clinic. The providers are always understanding and patient. We can get care when we need it and have never had issues scheduling appointments. We’ve had the same pediatrician for both of our kids for the last 8 years. Thankful for the continuity of care.

Wonderful staff starting from making appointments over the phone, being welcomed when we walk in, to amazing doctors and nursing staff. We really love our pediatrician and how she works with our boys and highly recommend this clinic to other families.

We love our doctor at Wayzata children’s clinic! We had our first baby in July and they have been really informative during every developmental stage. Also when she’s sick, they are always able to get her in quickly! We have really liked every doctor we have met at the clinic so far. 👏🏻 we plan to bring all our future kiddos here!

Both my girls ages 9 and 6 have been seeing doctors at the Wayzata Children’s clinic from the day they were born. The doctors are very friendly, compassionate and know whats best for your child. Dr Burt Benson who retired last year was the best doctor we could wish for our girls. He was detail-oriented, kind and approachable, and the girls loved being seen by him. Other doctors and nurses at the clinic are knowledgeble and spend time understanding your concerns unlike other clinics where they rush you and dont care about listening to the issues.
The clinic is very clean and the staff are also friendly. They are always happy to help with scheduling and rescheduling appointments. They are prompt replying to emails and sending the immunization records.
They have multiple locations which is convenient.
Overall we love our long relationship with Wayzata Children’s clinic and would continue to have our kids see the doctors here.

Wayzata Childrens Clinic in Minnetonka is the best pediatric clinic around in my opinion! I went there for my first 18 years growing up and now for the past seven years, I have been bringing my daughter there. They have been consistent throughout all those years in terms of their quality of care. They have very friendly staff, clean and comfortable environment surroundings, and a clean and nice waiting room with beautiful fish to look at! All of the doctors we have seen Have always been respectful and nonjudgmental. They are always very informative and they take their time to interact with the child and make
Them a part of the conversation as well! It never feels like they rush you in and out of your appointment like some clinics do-they have genuine care for each patient and their families and it shows. They have made going to the doctor something pleasant and fun instead of something that they are scared about going to. They really are an all around amazing clinic!!

While I was still pregnant looking for a great pediatrician, I called the clinic with lots of questions and the receptionist took the time to answer them all and ease my anxiety- super great!

We had no specific pediatrician in mind, but we had a serendipitous first meeting with Dr. Shane at Waconia hospital after I had given birth. My husband, myself and my baby all loved him! We were so delighted that he practices at the Minnetonka location as it is our preferred location.

We have always had great experiences at all of our visits to the Minnetonka Wayzata Children’s. The receptionists are great and know their stuff, the nurses are SO sweet and really care, and we can’t say enough great things about Dr. Shane. I’m always given enough time and encouraged to ask my questions while never feeling rushed… that’s huge!

Choosing Wayzata Children’s Clinic has been one of the best decisions we’ve made for our family. Dr. Shane McWhirter is outstanding, we highly recommend him! When it comes to your child’s health, you want the best of the best and to feel like you’re heard. We feel like our children are in great hands here!

Our family is so grateful to have found Wayzata Children's Clinic! Everyone we've worked with at the Minnetonka location is exceptional, from the front desk receptionists, to the nurses, to the PAs, to the doctors. Rarely have I felt so listened to and respected in a medical setting, and it makes me grateful to be working with Wayzata Children's in caring for my four kids.

We also love their fish tank, and the stickers they give out for good behavior! 😊

Dr. Danah O'Neill is incredible! She's kind, professional, down-to-earth, and relaxed. She has been the perfect pediatrician for us and our almost two year old. She is a big part of why I was able to breastfeed my son for 18 months! We love this whole clinic and the care and attention they give us every time we visit and call.

We have two boys that have been going to WCC since they were born and we will never consider another pediatrician group. Our care there has been excellent from routine visits to last minute sick calls. Dr. Dodig and staff have been wonderful to work with and have kept out boys safe and healthy!

We are extremely impressed with Wayzata Childrens Clinic. Their staff, doctors and nurses are very caring and helpful. They are quick to get back to us when we have a question and they have relatively flexible scheduling.

Wayzata Children's has been a trusted place for our family. The Minnetonka clinic has cared for all three of my children for 18 years. They have provided exceptional care, professionalism and always listened to my concerns. My children have always felt comfortable with all of the providers.

I have been taking my 2 boys to WCC since they were born. We cannot say enough good things about the staff and providers. We haven't had a bad experience yet! They're so responsive when you call and we feel so supported through these early years.

We started coming to Wayzata children’s clinic when we moved here about 6 years ago. We’ve seen multiple providers and have felt like the provider had time and listened to any concerns. Also same day sick appointments have always been available, saving us from urgent care! Super office and back office staff!

Dr. Dodig is fabulous. My kids are comfortable speaking to her and always have a good experience. She is personable and really cares about the well-being of my family.

We’ve had a great experience with our doctor and this practice in general. The staff and providers are so caring!

My wife and I took our daughter here for about a year. We were under the impression that all pediatric clinics were like this: patient, accessible, informed. I'm here to tell you, they are not. Since moving, we've found that pediatric care in many other areas leaves much to be desired. We're having #2 and wish we could use WCC again.

We have been very pleased with Wayzata Children’s at the Minnetonka location. The support team has always been pleasant, and the doctors are compassionate and caring. Convenient hours. My daughter loves the fish tank in the reception area. We wouldn’t go anywhere else!
