Sakura Home

This was my first time. We were taken to our table right away. Waitress was good. Chef was good. Food was very flavorful and there was a lot of it! I will definitely go back.

My business partner and I put together a last minute dinner meeting and showed up to Sakura Home without a reservation, during a busy dinner hour. Our server and host, Kenneth, took the extra steps to set us up in their traditional Japanese private dining room, which was quite a private and unique experience. The chefs presented us with an over-the-top delivery that dramatically exceeded expectations (see pics!). We were blown away! The fish was fresh, the rolls were creative, and the overall meal and service were truly exceptional. Thanks, Ken, for your excellent and thoughtful service. We’ll be back soon! Highly recommend Sakura Home for sushi or hibachi. Both are great.

Had an amazing hibachi experience on a busy NYE night. Ken was our server and he made our dinner extra special, placing special importance to my family's dietary needs, checking in often, and made sure it was a memorable night. Chef was a professional and knew how to keep the table's undivided attention. Overall a great time. Definitely coming back.

My wife and I stopped in for lunch on Thursday. Manager is always great. Sat at sushi bar. Very happy with the presentation and quality. We had the sashimi lunch with soup and salad and a Hanna roll. Highly recommend. Tom and Debi

The best Japanese Steak house in Rochester. The sushi is fresh and made right in front of you. The restaurant is beautiful inside, and has a huge menu. A must go to if you're in Rochester NY.

Dinner last night next door to the hotel. I love Japanese hibachi. Ordered the filer, lobster and shrimp. Comes with the usual mushroom soup, fried rice and veggies all of which were good I would have liked a little more onion in the veggies but I enjoyed them. The filet, lobster and shrimp were all cooked perfect and, no, I didn't get any pictured of the food. I was really hungry and didn't think quick enough 😀. The two sauces they give you are the typical sesame and some kind of butter sauce that's different from the usual mustard sauce and it was very good with the meats. Overall it was a nice experience. Recommended 👍.

I never write reviews but I just got takeout from here and everything is AMAZING. A variety of sushi, rolls, mushroom soup, yellowtail jalapeño and soft shell crab, everything is fantastic. I dine in often and it is always great. Highly recommended!

Food and serving sizes were amazing.
Price was normal for this type of dining.
The only bad review I have is that our chef was very bland and definitely have had better shows!

My daughter had her 16th birthday dinner here. She wanted and had hibachi for the first time. The food was great and enough that we all took some home. Definitely rec

Amazing sushi! Between the two of us we ordered 3 rolls and it was very filling. The salad with the creamy ginger dressing was delicious. One of the best sushi restaurants in Brighton.

We've been to place twice. The first time we had an incredible experience our Chef was amazing we had hibachi but they were not very busy that night. The second time we went was a little over a week ago. We still had a great time but they were extremely busy and even with a reservation we sat and waited for the food to be cooked for about an hour. It was still really good! Our chicken Hibachi was rather dry but with yum yum sauce it made it better! Is it still one of the best Hibachi places that we have gone to in the area. We'll definitely be coming back in the future for a special night!

Had the Japanese hibachi experience was thrilling to watch and had a great atmosphere. Went for my grandsons' birthday.

I really enjoyed myself. Ken and Jason were the best. The family welcoming vibe was awesome. The food was really good .Jason really did his thang .

Quincy was our bartender/server for the night. We chose to sit at the bar and not the packed hibachi side. Best decision ever. Quincy was very attentive and engaging. Food came out perfect as always. We usually get it to go but because we had a date night close by, my husband and I decided to dine in. 100% would come and dine in again.

Good food. If you love sushi this is the place. This is the shrimp and scallop hibachi.

We celebrated our friend’s birthday for hibachi. The chef Biak very nice. Emily our server is so sweet. Song was very patient with us while waiting for the whole party came, they did not rush us to go home even though the restaurant was closed. I ordered from sushi menu while others ordered hibachi. The portion is so big and we all take the food home. Sakura home is always my favorite restaurant for the past 5 years. I hosted so many parties there, from birthday to graduation. Everyone is so nice, from chef to staff, except one waiter, but since most of them are nice, still get 5 stars for them.

It can get pretty busy here I'd recommend making a reservation for the hibachi experience. Fresh meat and veggies cooked infront of you. I love it there, it'sfun if you fo with friends and or family, I usually go twice a year. It's a wonderful experience. If you don't fill up a station you will be seated with strangers but it's a good way to interact with people. Same great service every time I go!
