Seymours Cafe

I had heard great things about this place from several people and had to try it. They were right, there were many dishes we wanted to try, and the ones we got were excellent. My daughter got the Short Hills Sandwich (Steak, fried eggs, sauteed onions & cheese). I got the Teriyaki Salmon Bowl (Quinoa brown rice, fresh sliced avocado, cucumber, carrots, soybeans, fresh scallion, fresh ginger, sesame seed - I said no to the avocado). It was too much food, and I couldn't finish it, but my daughter did that for me.
The service was super nice. The place was very crowded and busy but they were keeping up.
The place is kind of a small diner and a diner-like selection. I suspect they could do a lot more business with more space and parking.
The image is of a watermelon radish, which they used as garnish on both our dishes. They have radish texture but only a faint radish taste. Very large, 5 or 6 cm.

It is a friendly, cozy local place, great cappuccino, delicious and tasteful food, excellent customer service.

Great casual place to get breakfast or lunch. The food is very good (all the breakfast items, gyro, wraps we've tried - including gluten free wraps!) but Nicole the server is the real star. She took thoughtful care of us and made us laugh, a real ray of sunshine on a gray day. Lovely to chat with, and she was right that the coleslaw there is very good even if it doesn't look at all fancy. But that's Seymour's, very good without pretense.
Cozy couple of tables inside, and a few outside. Small parking lot - we parked on Harrison St nearby.

Seymour's does not disappoint! I've tried pretty much everything on that menu and it's definitely worth every penny. The staff is great welcoming and attentive.Nicole is friendly and always offering different items on the menu.

Seymours is an absolute favorite of mine to go for brunch and lunch. The food is always fresh and so delicious! I have ordered lots of smoothies and they make them to order, with whatever I ask them to put in the mix. They have the best oatmeal! I crave it and even order it when I doordash. I love the tuna melt and the chicken noodle soup! They also make this wonderful steak wrap that I have gotten multiple times and it just melts in my mouth…

The best part of Seymours though is the service and the staff! Nicole is an absolute sweetheart and I adore her! She has the best smile and she goes out of her way to make all her customers happy. I go in sometimes just to be part of the good energy of Seymours. All the staff are wonderful. I am so grateful the restaurant is in my neighborhood. Thanks, Seymours!! 🙏🏻💓

very good and tasty breakfast, varied menu and very pleasant service. I really like the options with the healthy breakfast - smoothies, chia pudding, fruits and e.t.

First off: this place has the BEST homefries.
The self-service coffee is great because there's an array of flavors from your standard vanilla and hazelnut to snickerdoodle and graham cracker.
The food came out super fast and was delicious. Everyone working here is super friendly. They are all masked and clean surfaces.
They offer indoor and outdoor dining.
I'd absolutely come back if I lived closer.

Get the home fries well done, you won't be sorry!!!!

Best Avocado toast I've ever had. One word covers this Livingston gem...LOVELY! Everything here was made with love. And the staff treats you as if you're part of the family. We will be back again...

Service was so great! Food is amazing, everyone should try the chicken potato salad it was soooooo good!! Definitely ordering from here again!

I learned of Seymours due to work lunches. I'm glad I did. As my favorite Breakfast spot has closed Seymours has filled that position. You will definitely have plenty of bites per smile. My favorite is the Greek Bowl with blackened salmon. Healthy and fulfilling, it's probably made for 2 people but I'm not sharing. It's very good !!!

This is my favorite cafe in Livingston! I can order healthy options here, and also enjoy a BLT with a cappuccino LOL. Definitely have the best of both worlds for all of your cravings / food parameters! They also have great iced coffee to go - they make them with coffee ice cubes 😋😋

NJ deli at its best. I wish I had visited here before. They have so many dishes to choose from. The place is much larger than it appears from outside and have any seatings inside.

I visited Seymour’s for breakfast for the first time and it was fantastic. The food was delicious, generous portions and the service was outstanding. Kudos to Nicole who is an awesome server, super positive and courteous.

Seymour's Deli & Bakery is my favorite brunch place in NJ! I always bring my friends and family here when they're in town for a visit. The waiters/waitresses are very attentive and friendly and the food is simply exceptional! I love that the ingredients used at Seymour's are always fresh and most of the baked goods are made in-house. The prices are great for the quality and quantity you get with each meal!

The house coffee at Seymour's is brewed fairly strong (but not over/underbrewed) and is perfect with a splash of cream. My savory go-to option is the Seymour's omelette but if you're looking for a decadent splurge, I strongly recommend the banana pecan pancakes!!

I’ve actually never written an online restaurant review before, but my experience inspired me to leave a note here. First, my go-to sandwich, egg with meat and avocado, was a featured item on the menu. I was also pleasantly surprised to find 2 nondairy milk options (almond and oat) on the self-serve coffee station! The manager was also very on top of personally making sure everyone was being helped and appeared to be very kind and supportive of staff and overall operation. The cafe was busy but service was efficient and everyone was very kind and helpful. Oh yeah, the sandwich and coffee were both delicious! Perfect coffee temperature, avocado ripeness, and crispy bacon. Most importantly, the bagel was LEGIT!

My friend and I went to bring her birthday in early. This place has many interesting breakfast and brunch options, both vegetarian (for me) and meat ones for her. The service was excellent and we were made to feel comfortable and cared for by a very sweet lady called Nicole.

It was my first time but I could see that for many this place is a go-to place for catching up over a delicious brunch/breakfast. I would definitely visit this place again.

Very good food very good service and just in general the atmosphere is terrific. Great family vibes definitely come here with your family. It’s a great way to spend the holidays and just a dinner or brunch and breakfast with the family

Not only is the food absolutely delicious, but it comes to you like artwork on a plate, beautifully presented!
Sure there's a wait now and then but that comes with any popular restaurant, just get in early to beat the rush!

They have gluten free bagels! The lox sandwiches were outstanding. Worth it for sure.

Visiting Jersey for a wedding and this place is absolutely delicious! Nice large portioned meals, delicious turkey burger which is hard to find. We tried a couple things and nothing disappointed. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Mom and pops type of location.

Came again today for breakfast and wow! The portions and huge but the food is just absolutely delicious! This is very hard to find!!!
