Shay and Africa was the best at Customer Service. They wouldn't cease to assist me and that's how all shoptite employees should behave. Friendly atmosphere and clean.

So I was just the bothersome customer who got an absurd amount of gift cards from guest services. And while the line was building up behind me, this wonderful employee named Novelette not only was extremely professional but also cool and collected while handling the busy rush of the days leading up to thanksgiving. In the 20 minutes I was with her, she did not pause from scanning cards to answer the phone, answer questions from customers, greet people by name, and organize the line for efficiency. Novelette is stellar at customer service. Pleeeeaseee treat her right and use her as an example for excellent patron care, she is an angel! Thank you Novelette .

This is where I do the bulk of my grocery shopping. Do not go here during lunch time. It is a total zoo. I don’t know why so many people go here during lunch time! I usually go early in the morning at 8am or after 8pm. There are so little people at that time you feel you have the store to yourself and you can do your shopping in peace!

ShopRite of Livingston is an excellent grocery store! There are many friendly employees, such as Novelette, Kevin, Elisa, Hiwot, Eddy, Dahlia, Dina, and that's just a brief list! The night crew, and the cleaning crew, go out of their way to be courteous and respectful! There are many outstanding organic, vegan, products to choose from, and they are delicious! Gerald, from the night crew, really friendly, brought me paper towels, after I used the lavatory. Dahlia was kind, brought me to the shortest line, and then G., the cashier, was awesome!!! Employees are very friendly. The products are very affordable and never overpriced. The store is always clean and well stocked. And checkout moves quickly.

I absolutely love this shoprite. The hot food and salad bar are a savior in this heat. And the grocery selection is great.

The Shoprite in Livingston NJ was 5 star the store is clean. The go electric chairs available the workers were very observant and nice even in the aisle offered helping customers treating me the way a person should be treated.

This location is updated so nice, spacious and clean. Shelves are well stock, food always fresh and packed out neat. If you in the area or want to take a nice drive away from home stop to your neighborhood friendly Shop Rite Livingston, NJ.

I always pretty much do self check out. I always have a wonderful experience with Krystal she is so kind, very helpful, very professional. If I could give her a 10 star I would!

Pros:
+ Staff. Isaiah at the seafood counter (always gets our salmon right with a smile). The guys that bring the carts back in (one returned my wallet to the manager with 100% of my cash still in it - SO honest - I think his name was Leslie?). And, in general, some of the female cashiers really sweet.
+ Has pretty much everything I need (even Asian staples).

Cons:
- Parking and making a left to Livingston Ave.

TIP: if you need to get to Northfield after exiting, go through the back of ShopRite.

I appreciate Alex in seafood! She assisted me in picking the best seafood for an awesome family gathering. My husbands family was pleased with what I was able to provide and if it had not been for Alex, I’m not quite sure the meal would’ve been as pleasant. Everything was clean & she was quite knowledgeable of the large variations of fish and crabs available. Thank you Alex!

Place is very clean. Produce does a great job in terms of keeping food clean. Lots of great deals especially if you have applications that reward you back for shopping certain items like cereal or oreos, etc. Decently big store and many options of food and other products like desserts and seafood. Staff works hard and fast, I worked the night shifts and believe me when I tell you that they try their best to set everything up for the morning. Lots of parking available. Would recommend to anyone buying groceries. Return policy is good even if you don't have your receipt.

One of the nicer Shoprites in the area. The store is well-stocked and everything is neatly displayed. There are several entrances and checkout areas. The fresh produce section isnt quite a large as the ShopRite in West Orange but things are displayed neater.The fresh foods area is nicely decorated and provides a good shopping experience. I come here occassionally and the service is quite consistent.

wow! recently upgraded Express Checkout line. The parking lot was full today on a Saturday afternoon, but I was able to check out without wait!!! food was always fresh, organized and wide selections. thumbs up for my neighborhood supermarket!

All the employees are kind, considerate and always take the time to help whether to answer a question or to show you where you can find the product you are searching for. The cashiers get 5 stars for putting themselves in harm's way so we can do our shopping knowing that everyone has put our safety and well being first and foremost. We should never take anyone for granted for making our life easier. They are among the many heroes that in a different time most likely were taken for granted.. Bless them all!!!!

My favorite place to grocery shop.

While parking lot is huge, it's not always easy to find parking.
Never long lines, very little wait to checkout.
I don't know why I attract the attention of the security guards, I should learn their by now. I am there often and they act like I am about to steal something.
Produce is fresh and reasonably priced.
Their meat department is reason enough to go there.
Frozen foods section reason #2
Stop by for lunch, they have hot food ready to eat.
Not much on bakery, but they have what I need.
Kosher section is growing.
... I can go on and on...
