I have been to other Peruvian Restaurants before but Gerardo's cooking and the presentation was amazing!!! I will come many more times and definitely recommend it to my community!

I love this bar. There's a sense of community and a rich mix of clientele. Brian is a great bartender and an even better friend. Great dance floor and has a nice level pool table. You never know what you'll get into and who you might meet :) One day I hope to have the after-party for my wedding here. Love you guys!!!

Well. I came on a Thursday not a fan of people singing but o well. Maybe is not. My day. I will give it a try on a Friday night. The bartender is very nice and attentive. Thank you for answering my questions. Maybe I change to 5 star on a Friday night. Let's see. I like it cus it is clean. Smells clean. I like that in a place.

the beer are super cold, will keep coming back for a nice cold beer. The best I've had. Haven't try the food but I will. Hopefully won't make me change rating 😅
The bartender is very nice and attentive. The environment is friendly is a small local place but is cozy. People make you feel welcomed. Thank you everyone.

Restaurant was a little slow, not super fast service or dining so don't come here and be in a hurry to go somewhere else. The decor of the restaurant had more of a night bar vibe to it than a Peruvian restaurant. However, the service was kind, caring, and precise. The star of this place was of course the food being in my opinion 4 star level restaurant cuisine. This isn't a typical Latin restaurant but is artisan food made by an experienced and passionate chef that takes his time and pride in his food. The drinks were alsophenomenal, especially their pisco sour. Highly recommend bringing your family or for a date, or for the sake of the passion of the food. Overall food was 5 out if 5. Pricing was 4 out of five. Service was 3.5 out of 5, decor was 2 out of 5. The food is high quality and highly recommend.

This is my favorite place in the area! The kitchen is absolutely amazing. Love the bartenders! Tyler is awesome to visit during lunch. Their happy hour runs from 12-7 and it's a steal. Catch me here anytime!

Love visiting Chelas when I am in town. It is one of the best places to get Peruvian food in my opinion. The restaurant is very clean and the staff are all very nice and they’re constantly having bands and events at the restaurant. Definitely will keep coming back !

I DJ’D this bar multiple times, the food is amazing and very cultural. There drinks are always on point. And the place is very clean. The staff is super friendly, attentive, and skilled behind the bar. I highly recommend taking a visit here one day!

Love their food, the chefs prepare some great lomo saltado and papa la huancaina. Finally tried the new Machu Picchu drink and must say it doesn't disappoint at all. Will definitely come back

Great salsa/ bachata crowd on Thursday if you can tolerate all the drunk white girls at the bar.

This place has the most authentic and delicious colombian/peruvian food and that is saying alot from someone from NYC. The fish ceviche, chicken taquitos, sancocho colombiano, mussels, bandeja paisa, homemade chili are absolutely tasteful.

What a find! Diver bar coziness, and yes, I mean coziness! All the positives you get from a town bar with none of the negitives. The food was spectacular!!! The egg plant parm was fesh and not greasy! The shrimp on the sala was grilled to perfection. Deff dont pass by and get intimidated by its potentially "town" bar vibe. After walking right in the bar tender made us feel like we belonged there.

OMG food is amazing! Looks are deceiving here at Chela's, I highly suggest that you give it a try. The bar tenders are friendly, food is excellent, and the atmosphere is that of a local-friendly bar.
