Costco Wholesale

This is one of the best designed Costcos around here. Huge parking lot, with easy parking. Huge and easy access shopping cart corral. Much larger walking space for shoppers getting into the store, larger main aisles and larger side aisles. Plus nothing blocking the cash register area, so the lines are much easier to manage compared with a traditional Costco where the cash register area is a mess filled with an extra row of food and snacks limiting and chocking the line of shoppers waiting to purchase to just 2 or 3 carts before the line has to bend in a huge mess.

The location itself is very convenient being next door to the Willowbrook mall, BJs and a movie theater.

Prices are awesome for almost everything. If something is not on sale, just be patient and come back again another day.

The only negatives I have pertain to all Costcos and not just this location:
Negative 1 are the Pantene shampoo and conditioner bottles used to be $9 per bottle until Bidenflation hit and now overnight the price jumped for no reason.. both are now $14 per bottle.. same stuff inside, same volume/quantity, same quality but price is $5 higher. Not made of gold or precious metals. Just greed. Luckily Costco realized the mess of this mistake and now often drops the price to $9 on sale usually once per month since at the $14 price not many people are buying it.

Negative 2 is the Costco milk bottles. Years ago the bottles were identical to normal grocery store milk bottles. Then they redesigned the bottles to be a more square shape. The two problems with this new design are the safety seal and the pouring dynamics. The new safety seal is nearly impossible to remove without hurting yourself or using a knife or fork to stab it open and often I see these milk bottles with faulty seals that didn't totally seal or they sealed it in a way you can turn the cap all the way. Lots of defects and way worse than the traditional milk bottle seal. The pouring dynamics are also terrible. The new bottle shape makes it extremely difficult to pour the milk without spilling it all over the place. Really bad. Just bring back normal milk bottles please.

Negative 3 is the Kirkland brand bottled water in the 40 bottle case. These bottles used to be slightly thicker and slightly bigger caps which made the bottles stronger and caps would perfectly seal no problem. Then around a year ago some idiot at Kirkland redesigned the bottle to have less plastic to save Costco money, but rendering the bottles and water inside useless. If you drop the case by accident, more than likely a bunch of the bottles will pop open and spill everywhere due to the weak and very thin plastic and very thin caps that pop off if you barely touch them. And if you even carry 1 bottle it is likely the cap will pop off just holding it. Please bring back normal bottles and caps for this. In the mean time I buy Poland Spring water since they use normal thick water bottles with strong caps.

Negative 4 is Kirkland brand paper towels. Again in a stupid move to save money, Kirkland removed all the individual plastic wrap per roll of paper towels. So if you open the main seal holding all the rolls of paper towels, each roll can now easily get dirty from dust, spills, rain, snow, insects, dirt, falling on the floor, rolling in your car, falling on the ground outside.. there is now nothing to protect all the unused rolls. One of the most stupid ideas they ever had.. don't be fooled by them saying it is to save plastic. It is for them to save money and charge us full price while making all your unused paper towels in storage much easier to get dirty becoming useless and then forcing you to go back to Costco and buy more rolls sooner. So I buy Bounty towels instead since they are logical and still have individually wrapped rolls to protect your unused towel rolls that are in storage.

100% would recommend this place. I personally love shopping here anytime of the year especially around the different holidays. They always have what I'm looking for and more. They bring in a lot of cute and cheaper things for the holidays. The selection for the whole store overall is very good as well. If you are looking to buy cheaper and in a bulk this is a great store to go to. They do have a food court as well. A lot of people stop here for a quick bite or a snack. You can also get a water bottle from their vending machines for only .25 cents. If you need something cold to drink. The store is always clean but very busy during the day and on the weekends. The lines move fast and they do have a self checkout area as well while moved quickly. This store is very nice and big with plenty of parking. I would recommend not going during the busy times so you have time to really see what they have.

They have Many Excellent sections within the Store!!! My favorites are the ✔ Bakery, Hot Foods, Produce, Electronics, and the FLOWER Section !! 🌺 🌸🪻🌼💐

Good selection of products, great service!

They have wine inside the store! Love this place because it has everything and empty lures are so friendly. Also the shopping area has so many places to stop and do more shopping.

For a mid-day Monday morning shopping trip, I was surprised to see just how swamped this place was. Felt the equivalent of a shop-rite on a weekend. To my surprise, regardless of customer volume, the flow at the checkout was swift and prompt. And, of course, you can't go wrong with a hotdog at the end of your trip.

Staff was courteous and prompt to help. Very clean facility.

Such a great wholesale market! Very wide variety of items, excellent offers & prices, huge parking lot, big easy-rolling shopping carts, self checkout is available...

Very clean and roomy store, not as crowded as Brooklyn Costco, everything where it meant to be, prices are the same. I like manuka honey prices, sour cream is fraction of the price compared to the regular stores. I'm a big fan of their food court - unbeatable prices with super tasty everything there. Iceream is out of this world, better than any of them McDs with ever broken machine.

Excellent selection of products.
Friendly Staff.
Have good verity of liquor too and carries Kirkland branded too.
Parking tends to be crowded a lot.

I just wanted to say that Jeff in the TV department was amazing. He was very helpful and I did not know anything about TVs but he helped me. He was very patient and he helped me carry the TV. Thank you so much for the great customer service.

Let me just say that my experience at this Costco was so much more pleasant than the Costco in Clifton NJ. I felt more relaxed and no one was rude to me there. Shame on me for being that customer, but I was even more impressed by how the lady allowed me in even though they were about to close. She was very nice and I was very grateful!

Costco is Costco. Most locations are the same but big difference here is they sell Alcohol. Amazing Wines, Spirits etc. There is one more huge difference, Costco like these have greater varieties as well which you won’t find ordinarily. I know another location which is similar to this - Washington DC location. Some of the Kirkland spirits are really top notch like their Tequila Anejo, Gin and Cognac. Check this place out

I was so impressed by the customer service today. My husband bought Kirkland boxed Pinot Grigio yesterday. We bought six boxes and three were rancid. I was surprised that they took all the boxes back and credited us. The employee suggested not to buy anymore today because a lot of customers are returning the same wine. It must have been the entire pallet that they received. Kudos to Costco Customer Service..

Always good! This store is always well stocked, and easy to find what we’re looking for. Only downside here is the parking lot can be difficult to navigate, especially since they added the gas station.

It’s Costco- that means something because they earned it… and amazingly they keep getting better!
If it’s at Costco you can rest assured it’s high quality, if not THE best. Sam’s copied and still doesn’t quite get what the magic is. BJs I cannot believe is the same animal
But,…. I may be biased….I knew them before they became Costco, they were this amazing place called Price Club, a guy in San Diego came up with. And Price Club isnt about the pricing- although it certainly fit for the name. He was Mr Price. And now you have trivia for the upcoming holidays. Just another service they offer: a fan club of long satisfied members, that become fans. And Mr Price, was smart: He said I can teach you how I do it, but you can’t use my name. And Costco was born. He was still there, Board Chairman so they couldn’t fail, and run his baby into the ground. Thank you Mr Price!

It's Costco, what can I say. Kirkland brand foods, liquor, and anything else is as good as any high end brand.
