Absolutely Amazing! Best Oysters we have tasted by far! (And we love to travel) The Flatbread was phenomenal, and the Stuffed Haddock was also phenomenal! Service was excellent. Place was super clean and very comfortable! Would highly recommend!

Loved this place. Upper deck had awesome views of that harbor! Got the Fish Sandwich and fish and chips. Fried fish was very light and not greasy and the tartar sauce was soooo delish! Would go here again.

My spouse and I randomly stopped by here after exploring the area on Christmas Eve around midday. We decided to take a chance and see if they were still open for brunch, and indeed they were. We did not anticipate it being one of the best brunch experiences we've had yet! The food was delicious, the drinks marvelous, and the service couldn't be friendlier or more welcoming. We didn't have a reservation, but the bar was perfect for the two of us. Thanks for providing us a wonderful memory from our mini vacation!

At Frisbee Wharf there are three restaurants catering for you different whims! The Bistro is at the top floor and it has some killer views. It is located off the typical beaten path along the old coast road and away from the noise and traffic of downtown Kittery!
Our server Trisha was fab, attentive and knowledgeable introducing us the new summer menu that launched today. We don’t know who made our cocktails but we would like to send them a thank you card - really not shabby at all.
Atmosphere is casual, the restaurant and bar (and restrooms) were clean and all the staff were smiling. They looked clean too. If you’re thinking to yourself I just left my walk up apartment to walk three flights to get dinner? don’t worry - I got you covered - there’s an elevator in the downstairs bar that will take you to the top floor.
Food was very good, fresh and tasty, homemade desserts were magic, comes with free parking too!

Ten of us were at the 1828 restaurant on 7/17/23 for a coworkers retirement lunch. We were on the 3rd floor inside Ski Club portion of the restaurant. We ordered several appetizers, the grilled salmon was fantastic, I had the blackened chicken over the salad, others had the lobster rolls and fish and chips. All the food was great, the service friendly and attentive and the atmosphere fantastic. Our group was from all over New England and one from Delaware and today a day later the other nine all called to thank me for choosing such a super place. Highly recommend it!!

Had lunch there today, and the whole experience was way above my expectations. I had the duck confit gnocci. It was unbelievable. It was an excellent blend of 2 traditional dishes. The smores creme Brule was great too, and I'm not big on sweets. All around, props to the chef, I haven't seen such an inspired menu like this in a long time.

This was a recommendation to my best friend from a local. Kittery is a central meeting place for us; she and I met there last year for Fall shopping. We met again recently. Without saying ahead of time, we both had the same thought--Bistro 1828 for lunch!! Awesome food, awesome wine, awesome view, awesome service! Can't go wrong.

Our second dinner proved as lovely as our first. We shared a cheese board equal to the price, loaded with various cheeses (one hard, one very soft and a bleu), pickled veggies, sweet, cruncy nuts and plenty of crostini. I enjoyed a stuffed (spinach), baked haddock, perfectly done while my husband relished his seared scallops, rice and bok choi. Given it was Valentine's Day, we shared the special flourless choclate cake--a bit overpriced, but good. I loved that I was able to try the two wines I was debating between (a Pino Grigio and a Sauvignon Blanc) which allowed me, surprisingly, to chose the latter. The bar tender even made a perfect keoke coffee-- a recipe that seems to stump many! Bistro 1828 remains our 'go-to' for a special occasion--one of the few local seacoast restaurants whose food, service, atmosphere lives up to the its prices! (Our table was in front of a drafty door--the only reason for the 4 star--get a back or side table!)

Great service! Really nice view of the ocean and whaleback light house. Ordered blue cheese muscles and pancetta flatbread with balsamic drizzle.. AMAZING!! Martinis, wine and craft beers. A new favorite spot!

Fantastic food, service and atmosphere. We got the soy glazed salmon, Buffalo chicken with chips and the soup of the day, which was a fish chowder, and all 3 were simply perfect. Their sauvignon blanc is also great. 100% recommend.

Awesome meal with an amazing staff and a terrific 3rd floor view of the sunset over the harbor. Annaliz (or Anna-Lis) was my bartender and is a absolute terrific waitress and listened to what I wanted and made great suggestions for food and drinks. Cant wait to return.

The food here is never a miss. Haddock is fresh and very lightly coated. French fries are choice. A tad pricey for an everyday lunch but is sooo worth it.

This was our first time dining at Pepperell Cove and we were blown away by it all. We dined on the 3rd floor at the Ski Club. The food, the service, the location/views… all stellar. We both thoroughly enjoyed the freshness and high quality of our order. The muscles & lobster salad are reason enough to go back, not to mention the incredible crafted cocktails. Don’t skip the opportunity to go if you get it— you won’t regret it!

All at our table enjoyed every tasty morsel ! Small dining room but comfortable. I don’t usually order blackened anything but the blackened salmon was really tasty. And the other three raved about their sesame crusted ahi.
