Coachman Inn

Adding some context now that I have full power back. I want to add that this inn was very easy to check into, despite being busy with other residents seeking power and warmth. The inn was extremely reasonably priced, large space, and shockingly quiet in the room despite being packed with families, and pets. Water pressure for shower was amazing, so if that is ever a deciding factor, book this spot!! This inn also does allow pets which in situations like a storm outage this was very nice to see, as a lot of our fur babies are our babies. Inn was clean, pillows and bed very comfortable. Security of getting in and out was nice. Also if vacationing this has a large pool space and is within walking distance to outlets and just a short drive to some outdoor activities. Very pleased and would highly recommend. Thanks coachman!

Rooms were bleached-we smelled it when we walked in. Customer service was on point and incredibly friendly and accomodating.

The rooms were clean and fully stocked.
Breakfast was well supplied and very good.
A lovely little dog space fully equipped with bags and a place to put them after use. Great spot for walking your puppy early am and late pm.

The Coachman Hotel is located so close to the Kittery Shopping Outlets, I mean walking distance. It is also a short drive to historic areas of York and Kittery. A short drive to downtown Portsmouth, with great shopping and restaurants. The hotel is small, but the rooms are so roomy, the beds are so comfortable, the bathrooms are clean and showers are hot!! Travel with your pet?? Pet friendly!!!
Staff is great, welcoming and very accommodating.

This was a nice little stay! The inn isn’t the fanciest but the room was clean and comfy. I did appreciate the family room that had 3 beds for our family of 6. One was a twin so we did have to have 3 in a bed but they managed! Having 2 bathrooms in the room was nice! We enjoyed our stay.

Very friendly staff and the room was spotless and we were planning on staying one night but we loved the atmosphere and the great staff we stayed another night and we will be definitely back the price was good the breakfast was a little scalled back from what it was advertised but very understandable with it being off season and we didn't mind a bit alot of places don't offer you anything during our breakfast we struck up a conversation with the gentleman that keeps the ground s clean and tidy he was so pleasant and gave us some of the history of the hotel which we found very interesting and we forgot his name but a big shout out to all the hard work that is obvious in and around the property thanks for your pleasant attitude and we look forward to seeing you again in the very near future and look forward to trying to see if we can't bump into you to say hello I certainly hope that this review is passed onto you to know how much your appreciated by the people who visit,Thank you Coachman Inn for the wonderful stay and we'll see you again soon

Room was nice. Bed was great. Nicely located, easy to get in and out. The guy behind the counter was super helpful and super courteous. 5/5.

Overall our stay was very enjoyable. Perhaps the only suggestion is when you advertise the room as having a "Queen Size Bed" perhaps the bed was not quite a "Queen". A bit wider might would have been a bit better. The room and bath were very clean. Much appreciated. Thanks

Wanted to stay in Portsmouth but cost was prohibitive. Location of Coachman Inn was convenient and offered better value. Easy to get to and close to good cycling routes but only a short drive into Portsmouth. Staff were polite and accomodating. Quiet and very comfortable beds. Good breakfast. Outdoor patios need work but rooms were clean. Would recommend.

I only gave the location 3 stars because I prefer out of the way places. This place is right on a busy road. Granted the outlets are all around us, that's not what interests me. Otherwise, this is one of the best motels we've ever stayed at. The rooms are huge! So much space! Very clean, lots of table space, microwave and fridge/freezer in the room. Shower temp is great, stays hot for a long time. We will stay here many times in the future.

But...in the US we do not make beds like this.
The top sheet is NEVER tucked in at the top and under the pillows.
Rather...we always fold the top sheet down so it is easy to grab and pull open as we get into bed.
Also...the second day there was NO replenishment of the coffee supplies we used the first morning.

Room is a regular hotel room as advertised. A lot more space than usual but I don't imagine people will be put off by that. The breakfast was such a great treat though and the staff was lovely. We had a great stay.

The motel looks a little dated from the outside however the inside is very up to date. The bedding is excellent, the room was very large and the bathroom, towels and toiletries were above our expectations. The continental breakfast had a good assortment to choose from.

Clean room, comfortable bed, very friendly staff. Decent options for a cold breakfast. Nice pet walking area. Looked like they were getting ready to open the pool for the season. Will definitely stay there again.

Great place for family and pets. Nice rooms comfortable beds. We stay here often because of the fine service, nice rooms, beautiful area.

Basically a very nice basic motel. Two fixable things would have made it better. I could not set the alarm on the clock radio. I've found that lots of hotel room clock radios are defective. Also the handle that you turn in the tub to make the water hotter was loose. Two simple fixes would be nice

My husband and I stayed at the Coachman Inn and had a great experience. Nikola is amazing she had everything set up for our arrival. We arrived in town after hours and Nikola accommodated us so wonderfully. We will definitely stay here again. The king bed was super comfortable and the room was bigger then I expected. Great Inn!

Nikola called us directly to make sure we would make it safely in to her inn as the reception desk was closing at 10pm - it was 7pm. We were going to be late so she accommodated our late arrival. Big Clean rooms, nice breakfast area good service! Thank you Nikola!
