We live down the road so we stop here often. It gets busy during the summer so we tend to stop during hours when there are not many people since the beach area is very small. We love to hike the trails and enjoy the peace and quiet. The best time to be here is during the winter. It is beautiful and again, peaceful.

The park is always clean and looks amazing.

First time renting a pavilion here. Experience was great, easy to book online, and submit license plate numbers after for park entry. Park staff on the day of the event were very helpful!

Huge park with a $5 entrance fee! They are in correspondance to the Waukesha County Park System, so it includes a lodge, legacy forest trail, and more. There is a public boat launch on the Southeast end of Lake Nagawaukee, but it's not incredible large or anything. Be wary of the times you visit! Also, there are campsites, but I'm not sure what the fees are. They are modest sites that I believe supply electric/water, and most seem like they have some sort of inground/steel framed campfire. There is plenty of wildlife as well! White-tailed deer, small and large birds, and of course small mammals such as squirrels and chipmunks. There are multiple trails inside of the park as well that wind through the forest and around the campsites. I'd suggest trying out the camping here, it seems like a beautiful place to visit come Summertime!

I really enjoyed the trails. I walked the orange loop with a friend and it's gorgeous even going into winter this year.

Been here a couple times. Busy lake with a lot of boats. Good fishing though. The lower boat launch fills up very quick.

Great place to be year round, but this review must be prefaced by the fact that its $5 to park per vehicle. They take cash and credit.

This park is huge, with flat fields for sports, woods and trails for hiking and running, sites for both camping and picnics. There is plenty of parking regardless of the activity. Throughout the year many events are hosted here, including road races in the winter. There are both primitive and modern facilities for restrooms and drinking water throughout the park. It's great to have a park like this so close to home.

This isn't the parks fault, but lordy our campsite was full of trash before we got there. Please clean up after yourselves people!

Besides that my family had an amazing time camping. Water was beautiful.
