Best Buy

Bestbuy is always a great place to shop for a personal- business technology equipment.

Frank, in the electronics department, was a great source of information. He helped us understand the technology behind the different TV makes and models. He had great suggestions about add-on products (surge protector) and was able to answer questions about equipment that we already owned and could use for our new TV purchase.

Great Best Buy. This location has a big line up of cameras to play with. Employees are very helpful and friendly in the camera area. The computer section is filled with many models to try as well and the employees in this area is very kind and helpful as well. They're definitely knowledgeable in their area. The tv area is very well organized as well. All of the aisles were clean and we'll organized. I always suggest this best buy if you're looking to play around with multiple selections of cameras.

Went in to buy a couple new appliances and my experience was great. Fast, pleasant customer service. Great deals and very convenient turn around time on delivery. Much better and easier than specialized appliance carriers. Highly recommend.

We have bought a washing machine, refrigerator, and laptop from Best Buy at this location within the past 6 months. Our most memorable purchase was the refrigerator, as we received exceptional customer service from Adam Wilford. I can’t remember the last time I bought an item from a store and even remembered who I worked with or was more than satisfied with the interaction. We will certainly continue coming to Best Buy in Oakdale for future purchases because of Adam.

I had a remote car starter FINALLY installed. Steve my tech. was wonderful. He was knowledgeable, friendly and quick. He was patient when it came time to show me how to use it.

I just really want to praise a young man that works at this Best Buy. He's name is Z and he's a supervisor at this location. He was super knowledgeable and took his time explaining things to me in a way I could understand. We were mainly looking at laptops but also T.V.s.

I loved working with the guys here they were so helpful. Especially the employee who wore a Saint Jude necklace. He was so kind and patient with me as we picked out a new modem that included voice, plus home phones for us while I wrangled my 3 year old. They also had super cool pac man machines to test out, and toys, washing machines, everything you’d want they have!

Awesome customer service!! I had a few TV’s to recycle today and the guy at the door was extra helpful and kind! Made it super quick and easy!!! :)

Ordered a headset for pickup.

However I don’t recommend them for shipping large items here in Minnesota. They hire some real bad folks for their local deliveries and it is a real clown show.

It feels weird leaving a mixed review, but Best Buy needs to get better about who they hire to do installations on items like Washer/Dryers and TVs. It is actually comical how bad they are and Best Buy isn’t holding them accountable. Completely ghosting deliveries and destroying peoples stuff during an installation is silly. I should add that the logistics is hilarious as well. Best Buy’s CSRs from the 1-800 number are completely silo’d and have no idea what is going on with the deliveries once they leave the warehouse.

5 stars for a good in store experience in Oakdale

A warning for customer ordering large items and having them delivered/installed here in MN. When Best Buy outsources your delivery good luck.

Sam! See Sam! He’s the man. Definitely impressed by the tech employees! I was there looking to purchase and learn about which tools to buy for a YouTube channel and received the best customer service ever! He definitely know his stuff - I spent well over $500! He only works wknds at the Oakdale store, so if ya need anything tech related, wait to go until the weekend and ask for Sam “the man”!

I just got a new cell phone from Best Buy a few days ago and I'm SO happy with my purchase and the wonderful staff there. I worked with Elaina Yoch, and she is SO knowledgeable! She helped me transfer all my music, apps, contacts, etc. from my old phone to my new one. On top of this, I had mentioned to her that my old phone was constantly on the brink of having no more memory. She found me a phone that has 4X as much memory as my old phone. And, the price was great-- it was only $250. Thank you, Elaina! Also, I realized that my phone was doing wi-fi calling. I looked this up and saw that this drains your battery and data and leaves you vulnerable to hackers. So, I went back to Best Buy today, and a wonderful gentleman (I forget his name) turned off the wi-fi calling for me. Best Buy Oakdale is A+!

Great Place. Went There Looking For a SD Card for my Switch & Got Help in Finding one While I was there. Also Picked up a few items as well while I was in the Neighborhood..

Everyone is so friendly and helpful. You can expect Best Buy to have GOOD products, and the in store pick-up is quick and easy!

We asked the salesman a question and he gave us a straight and truthful answer. I was very impressed. Well done

I was in there looking to buy a TV. I had a couple of hundred dollars worth of rewards to blow from a previous purchase... Or so I thought. It turned out the credit card company with Best Buy Rewards had issued the certificates and they had expired. Essentially, I lost all that free money.

I talked to one of the workers the (Gui Cruz). Not only did he help me find the perfect TV for me, he also spend about 45 minutes on hold with the card company to help me get the certificates reissued.

At the end of it, it took some time for the certs to be reissued so I ended up leaving the store and buying the TV later. I don't know if they work on commission or not. If they do, I feel really bad he didn't get the credit for the sale. Part of me would be surprised if they do work on commission because he never once tried to up-sell me to something I didn't need.

Again, amazing customer service and I'm very happy with the TV I ended up with.

Reasonable pricing, great support, Geek Squad, good service, selection, etc. Great team here in Oakdale
