I brought my schecter c1 classic in to get a set up. I brought my own strings and had specific instructions for how I like it set up. Steve was the man and helped me out with some fret issues and overall tightening up. It was polished and looked amazing outta the case. I plugged it in and it rips baby! Thanks again to guitar center and especially Steve for a job well done.

My wife and I stopped by to get a guitar/amp for our kid's birthday and received the best help ever by Zach. Guy was fantastic from start to finish. Highly recommend this place.

The best music store in town. They are courteous and never bother you when you touch their items. They always help you when you ask and they work so hard even though it's busy. These negative comments are not fair at all imo. I've reviewed a dozen places and take it from me these guys are awesome. Just ask for help, you'll get it guaranteed and also during busy times watch them work hard, it's obvious.

Update: still the best. I went to buy a Piano there a day ago and the there was no available exact bundle but the manager helped put a bundle together for me. I got pro stand, pro chair and 15% off when the bundle was a 7% only item with much cheaper bundle items but they gave me pro versions. As always , the best music shop in town.

I have Guitar Lessons (30 minutes) here on the weekends! It looks so nice and organized in here. Just bought this T Swift book today.

I just had a great experience here. Dan (one of the managers) greeted us and offered a ton of helpful information. We went in with a pretty good idea of the gear we were hoping for, and Dan was able to give reviews of the products and make some suggestions on the choices we hadn't yet made. He wasn't pushy at all, but asked insightful questions about the kind of work I do to make sure we got the best equipment for the job. Totally satisfied with the equipment and the customer service experience was a 10/10, plus the rest of the staff were super fun and they even offered to help me load out. Just bought my 5th Guitar from Guitar Center. My first 3 were out of Roseville. Phil sold me a beautiful best I've seen Fender Ultra HSS Umbra , Wyatt now at Oakdale sold me a nice Fender Ultra HSS Denim . The first two were the Fender Black Friday Specials . I also bought a Epiphone Les Paul with DeMarzio pick ups, from Wyatt. I was a little dissapointed Fender didn't have another exclusive with GC. I talked to the guys at Oakdale alot. In fact Bloomington and Oakdale. Last week I made GC tour four stores twice in two days. I found a Guitar that made sense. I talked to Luke at Oakdale I told him i pick up my Acoustics more than anything. I decided to go with an Acoustic luke was right telling me go with a new acoustic. Kyle helped me out going through several guitars several times. All the guys and techs along with the new manager Wyatt at Oakdale have made me a Guitar Center customer now and in the future. Shout out for to Mark (Oakdale)for help getting the paper work I needed for insurance company on my new Taylor 814ce Special Edition , even though he didn't sell it to me. He's always there to answer guestions and help me with other products.The guy just loves his job.The Tech set up my guitar great. I heard Phil's district now great to hear ,you earned it ,alot of hard work.. Will helped me close the deal at Maple Grove after going to 4 stores twice in two days.Kyle at Oakdale spent the most time on things with Wyatt making sure i was going to be happy. Oakdale Team is a tough store to beat out of the 4. Thanks again guys. You can't go wrong buying from these guys.I will be back in July for another guitar. I just love my new guitar. I'm bringing my others in to get set up like my new one.Ive been in sales with great success.Again what a great team .

The Staff AND Manager are very cool. They don't put on airs or show pretense and are supportive whatever level player you are (and I'm not that great). Great selection of new and used gear too. Reasonable trade in prices (as long as YOU understand how it works in all gear stores). I've purchased 90% +/- of my gear here.

I was impressed. I'm a bit of a novice and went in with lots of questions in electronic drums. The employee was very friendly and helpful, gave me demos to show me the differences between the sets and hooked me up with accessories. Made a great impression

Great service, I was looking to sell a vintage amp, they couldn't buy it, but they still tested it let me know any concerns and referred me to a few places that are more likely to buy. Super friendly staff that care about enough about the local music scene to be helpful beyond their own cash register. I'll be back soon!

Great selection of instruments. Great staff. You can test out just about anything in store. Good prices. You can get a Les Paul for $400 and its great. Going back for one. Very informative. Love this company. Website has everything a musician or band needs if not in store. Definitely recommend Guitar Center.
