I am the proud son of a Vietnam Veteran and happy 15 year member of Usaa . I use them for all my financial needs and their service is by far the best among any company. I’ve even closed out my hsbc and citizen accounts because with the level of service they provide there’s was no need to go anywhere else.

I just switched my car and home insurance to USAA. I had heard some positive things about the company and they are rated one of the best companies for insurance I spoke to three different representatives over two separate days inquiring about information and a quote for my auto and home On all three occasions I spoke with the most polite, knowledgeable, and professional people. I have to say that these individuals are the most polite customer service reps I have ever dealt with in my entire life. I was really taken back. Normally you call a company have to leave a voicemail or are put on hold for a lifetime and getting info or contacting anyone can be a waste of your time and many times the people you speak to Aren’t very friendly and you don’t get the info you need. I am not going to say that you will get really cheap insurance but USAA was lower than what I was paying at another insurance company. USAA employees are great to deal with and I highly recommend them if you are looking for insurance.

I've had checking & savings accounts at USAA for about 20 years, and have never had any sort of problem. I also have a USAA Visa card, and have used USAA for my auto insurance for about 10 years now. Never had an issue, and the few times I've had to call customer service about something the agents have always been friendly, polite and helpful. Their mobile app is excellent!

I've had to visit the Highland Falls branch only once or twice to get a certified bank check, and was helped almost immediately. My only "gripe" is that this branch is about an hour from my home. Wish there were more branches!

I have nothing but good things that come to mind with this company. Ultimately, it comes down to the customer service that is a benefit in itself when you become a part of their team.

The car insurance is something to not ignore either - fantastic rates. I handle most of my life affairs with these guys and have found no one close to their competitive offerings and again, the customer service is unmatched and unfound anywhere else.

Unfortunately this is a niche banking/insurance company with ties to the military, but the best nonetheless.

I've been a USAA customer for over 20 years. I use them as my bank (never needed a local bank because of their awesome, efficient support), my mortgage, homeowners insurance and more.

They are - literally - always competent, timely and plus to deal with. One of my favorite companies with whom I do business!

I have had an account with USAA for 15 years now. I have always had good customer service (although sometimes I do have to wait a little while on the phone). Their mobile app makes it easy for me to cash an occasional check or check information.

I was very upset when I wrote the post below. After speaking with USAA, they renewed my faith in them. They understand my concerns about this matter, have corrected it, and have agreed to take into consideration my suggestions and look into better ways to serve their customers. I am very happy that USAA, once again, stepped up and took into account the needs of their customers.

I have been a member of USAA for about 40 years. I started with them back in the 80s and have touted them to everyone I know for years. I loved my bank. Told everyone it was the best bank in the world. Kept it even though it's in Texas, through the years that deposits were a nightmare. Even when I had to go to Western Union to send cash deposits. I was willing to do that - because I loved my bank. Lately, however, they have turned into just another bank. One that is more concerned about collecting fees because they can, than working to help their customers. In my call today with Pasha, I got to hear how they were justified in taking money out of my savings account because I had the audacity to transfer money from my savings account to my checking account. Shame on me. Yep. She's right, the federal government has these stupid rules about limits. Yep. She's right it's written in the fine print of my agreements with USAA. Yep. She's right, they had no need to text me to say, hey, if you do that again there will be a fee. She wins. Just because she's right, though, doesn't make it a stinky thing to do. I got a text after they took my money, though. That wasn't a problem for them. One before hand would have saved me a small fee, but that's not gonna line their pockets, so not necessary. As I told Pasha while I was instructing her to close my savings account, and as I search for a new bank for my checking accounts, you won. You are right. Good for you. I know it's stupid to be heartbroken over a breakup with a bank. I had just spent the last however many decades grateful that I had a bank that cared about me and my piddly little bank accounts. It's sad to have to admit that's not true. If you have suggestions for a good bank (is there such a thing?) I have 3 checking accounts I need to move.

I love the great customer service that I always receive. The representatives are very knowledgeable and seem to care about its customers, the VETs. I have been a member for 18 years now. Even when I make a mess, USAA helps get me back on track.

I'm very happy with my auto, renters, personal property and Auto loan using USAA. Last night I broke my car window and in a 5 minute phone call I had an appointment for this morning for it to be replaced. Next I'm going to look into their banking. Thank you USAA

Been a usaa member for 6 years now. And i have never been disappointed! The customer service is fantastic and u dont get put on hold for hours upon hours and they answer all your questions and are very friendly working with you if u run into a problem. I am very happy to have USAA insurance on my side

I did an online quote - purchased insurance within 1 hour - two cars covered.

I also purchased and monitor my stocks - and I had no idea what I was doing - but they took the time to tell me how.

Lastly, I have a checking and savings account w/them. They don't charge ridiculous fees like my previous bank does. I love USAA and being affiliated with them.

Downside . . . no ATMs to deposit cash nearby. I would think that your local federal building or va would have one. . . . not the case.
Downside . . . .now that I have an investment account, I am bombarded with statements (that I really don't know how to read). I can't turn this off.

This company is by far one of the best companies that I have ever dealt with. Their service and dedication to excellence in everything they do is unmatchable. I've been with them for 10+ years and will be here for life. Only thing I wish is that they had more branches at least 1 in every major city.

They were amazing and helpful and got my car towed to a bodyshop right away, got me in a rental car immediately and already reimbursed me for my carseats and a broken key faab. Couldnt express my gratitide enough !
