Garrison Art Center

What a wonderful art hub! The staff was welcoming and very patient with my twin girls. Beautiful POTTERY as well!

I am a yoga teacher/performing artist /mommy and we arrived at Garrison station to escape from the hustle and bustle of New York City. Unfortunately the weather was too rainy for the hike we planned and took refuge at the Garrison art center. What a wonderful experience.
They had a pottery sale to raise funds for the Art Center. Wow my eyes had never seen such beautiful pieces. Of course my daughters tried touching some of the pieces and again the staff was so patient, they even provided paper markers and scissors while we waited an hour for the restaurant next-door to open. Will definitely come back when the weather is better and I’ve heard only great things about the pottery class.

The Garrison Art Center is a combination gallery and studio space where classes are taught. The classroom is spacious and I really enjoyed the class I took. I also appreciated the clean bathroom which is open to the public with a request for donations.

Great organization that shows fantastic art, and I can't say enough great things about the educational offerings. Highly recommend for anyone young and old and every level of art knowledge.

Garrison Art Center is an absolutely amazing organization that focuses on learning, community, creativity and growth. Over the last year they have generously welcomed Masha, a Ukrainian refugee staying with our family, into their teen classes. It gives her an outlet to express herself and a chance to meet local peers. I cannot say enough about GAC's commitment to their values, and the beauty they offer to Garrison and beyond.

There is an unparalleled tranquility interrupted only by the train passing which is oddly soothing. I love this place!

Went to the opening of tge current installment- Punto in aria. It was amazing! I think it's there for a month so definitely check it out. It was my first time there, I'm looking forward to going to more of their exhibits.

This place is the real deal. The show was impressively curated, and the digs are lovely.

Great gallery with rotating shows, art classes, great people. Definitely visit their summer arts and crafts show mid August, and their pottery holiday show in November.

I absolutely love taking art classes here. The Pottery Handbuilding class with Ada Cruz is outstanding!

Excellent rotating shows, ongoing classes for young and old in drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics. Excellent place to explore, and exercise your creativity.
