Amazing food that is consistently good! We’ve been eating here regularly for about two years, and it’s always a treat. We get the family meal for dinner and the leftovers are great the next day! The chicken is juicy and the sauces are really tasty. 100% recommend eating here!!!

Wow, all the reviews are absolutely on point!!! The food is sooooo delicious!! I have never had a white meat of chicken that is so soft and tender. The staff is absolutely Incredible, sweet and very helpful 😊 prices are great for the portions you get, much more then you'll get anywhere else , we ended up taking a lot of food to go bc it was so much ! Thank you for creating a place where it's such a pleasure to eat

Arriving in town for the first time and quite late, I found the owners very friendly and welcoming. The food was also really good.

The Half Chicken and Chaufa is amazing. Fresh, hot, delicious. Some of the best, most juicy chicken I have ever eaten. Nanas is a must try!

Amazing fresh-made food! Juicy chicken, fresh fried rice, amazing taste! I have no words other than “one of the best Peruvian restaurants I’ve ever been to!!”. All this at very a reasonable price, what else can I ask for?

I wish this place is at where I live. Everything is homemade with love and care. The owner Lidia is super friendly, told us how she makes her food.
The quarter chicken combo was excellent. The spices under the skin with charred just right, served with the fried rice and potatoes and salad. All excellent, truck and savory.
The beef loin sandwich was excellent. Si flavorful with plenty of juice from the sauteed meat. The portions wee generous at nice prices
Pro tip: the homemade secret sauce are excellent do make sure to ask for them with your fries or meat.

Hugo Sr, and his son, work countless hours six days a week to ensure fresh quality food every single time. They are a newer eatery here in town opened July 2021. Hugo JR, hopes to continue to grow in his niche, and expand the menu more as they become even up more comfortable with their business. The portions, and pricing are completely fair, and more wallet friendly than other Peruvian restaurants both in NY, and NJ for T.saltado in Jersey I paid $24 and the portion was smaller. I’ll gladly pay any price for this food. Some of these reviews are a little intense though.. you can’t win them all but calling a spot a hole in the wall.. and it’s the cleanest place probably in town and it’s not decorated loudly like other Spanish restaurants. They’re also the CLEANEST restaurant around.. constantly grading A with the Health Department and their owner/chef is Serve-Safe certified many times over. Love being able to physically watch my food being made..I like the open feel. I know they’re doing the best job!

To add because I think the newest comment is hilarious. The restaurant is run literally by three people. It is a small family owned and operated business. They have had fluctuations in opening because they also have multiple full time jobs. I’m not sure where they are cause they don’t serve Chinese food it’s Peruvian food they’ve never served anything Chinese.. This person is just angry because they weren’t aware of what Peruvian food is. I think it’s so sad when people intentionally lie and try to make bad reviews simply because they want to try and ruin a hard working families business. But that’s ok. Because they are one of the highest rated restaurants in town.

The food is really great and authentic. The environment of the restaurant is really good as well and quality of the food is super good. I totally recommend this restaurant if you are looking for Peruvian food.

Give this restaurant 10 stars! The food is SO GOOD, everything is homemade and fresh. We tried different dishes, and they were all delicious. You just made 4 new costumers already willing to come back!

So grateful to have discovered this fast-casual gem! The food will remind you of home cooked family meals. I appreciate the menu is solid and focused. Good value, good portions, quality meat and ingredients, made fresh and cooked perfectly.

Look out for my boy, Hugo Jr, one of Culinary Institute of America’s recent graduates. He’s got the skills, hustle, and a positive mindset. Parents Lydia & Hugo Sr are kind and doing a great job running the show and raising a good kid.

My 5 y/o son was so happy he ate the whole plate of Tallarin Verde! He wouldn’t stop smiling and telling me how much he loved the food with his mouth full! I couldn’t slow him down.

Great local family run restaurant serving delicious authentic Peruvian food. Service is friendly and accurate. Pricing is affordable. Definitely hits the spot for amazing food each and every time we go there. Highly recommend.

The food was authenticly Peruvian and delicious, as Peruvian food is! We waited a few minutes after we ordered, but the lomo saltado was piping hot and yummy. All the food was wonderful! We will definitely keep Nana's chicken on our go-to list when we go visit our plebe at West Point!

My family was the first customer and we are all in agreement that it is hands down the best chicken we’ve ever had. We enjoyed it so much we had to go back for seconds! The restaurant is not officially opened yet but we were fortunate to get an exclusive taste of what is to come. I’m excited for this family owned business. The Village of Highland Falls is coming alive with new flavors and cultures. When the doors open we highly suggest you try it. You will not be disappointed!

We'd been waiting for this place to open up for a while - and it didn't disappoint. I tried "The Chicken Sandwich" and it was amazing: a healthy serving of tender, flavorful chicken layered on top of crispy shoe-string potatoes topped with fresh, crunchy veggies. Whatever is in the "Green Sauce" is amazing. Definitely the best place for grub in Highland Falls and just a great place to eat period. I can't wait to try the rest of their menu. I also noticed that the kitchen was exceptionally clean. It's encouraging to see something like this pop in Highland Falls.
