Cadet Chapel

One of the historic sites at USMA... always pleasant to take time to say a prayer in this historic chapel!

Beautiful chapel! Everything inside and out is so well thought out and elegant. There's so much history with it as well. Visited during a tour of WP. During my visit we couldn't walk down the isle as the organist was there practicing. Our guide told us this chapel has the largest organ by number of pipes in the world, which was so amazing. Would love to come back and hear it "on full blast" for a show or a service.

An amazing structure. The stained glass is amazing and varied. Parking is tricky when busy, but overall a great place to explore.

Wow...what a magical and beautiful place! I really enjoyed looking at each little thing. The organ sounds amazing! The stained glass windows were all done by one family and they are brilliant!

This is a sacred place yet full of Military tributes in the design. It has a really cool door handle that you lift and turn...way cool.

Warning: Do not drive up the narrow road adjacent to the church! It dead ends in a very small turn around area and my small rental car was scraped badly by a low stone wall...

Very solemn and historic chapel. Listened to a great sermon.

Who doesn't love getting a history lesson from a Chaplin, this place is beautiful, the stain glass bordering the walls, the carvings in the stone work, the personal who attend. This particular building like the many around it all have a deep and interesting history.

Even if you are not a person who attends church on Sundays, I would still recommend this building to and see in person.

The United States Air Force Academy Cadet Chapel, completed in 1962, is the distinguishing feature of the Cadet Area at the United States Air Force Academy north of Colorado Springs. It was designed by Walter Netsch of Skidmore, Owings and Merrill of Chicago.

We attended the Top Brass! concert by the West Point Band. What a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Such a gorgeous location! The chapel is stunning!

This is one of the most beautiful chapels I've ever seen! It's unique and their are son many things to learn about it. The inside is a must see !

Been to two services now. Special place. Love the music and the pastor. God be praised.

Very beautiful chapel on the inside and magnificent stone work on the outside. I would recommend stopping by if you are planning to stop at West Point.

Beautiful, massive old church. The only upgrade I would like to see is air conditioning, but people were attending mass there before AC was even invented.
