Sunday Memories Ice Cream & More

Delicious ice cream options (quite a few unique flavors to choose from)! It was our first time so we had questions about the flavors and they were so friendly. Will be going back, hidden gem in the neighborhood!

Oh my. I didn't realize this ice cream place would be such a delight. And it's right around the corner! The flavors are traditional and unique. I had a Capaccino Crunch cone. Huge dips and amazing flavor. My new go-to place for ice cream.

I love supporting the mom and pop places that make the Cleveland area so special and this is DEFINATELY one of them! I had banana pudding and extreme chocolate ice cream. The combo was great because of course the banana pudding was sweet but the dark chocolate gave it a nice balance. The ice cream is rich with a homemade taste. There is a nice selection of flavors.

The young man behind the counter, (contrary to the absurdly impertinent and bias review of fellow customer Tiffany McKinney) was a benignant and courteous employee who served me with great enthusiasm and a level of skill that I would consider to be unmatched by any other ice cream establishment employee. I have spent my time in the States travelling from parlour to parlour, and no other has offered such a variety of delectable flavours and a welcoming environment - thanks to the employee! I can't fathom what Tiffany McKinney was thinking while writing her review; perhaps she was having a bad day and decided to take it out on this kindly young man. When I ordered my small oat meal cookie in a cup, it was not "flung" at me - it was actually slid across the counter, quite expertly if I do say so myself - and it packed perfectly within the cup. I imagine if one wanted a bag for their order, one would have to ask, which is standard in most ice cream parlours I've visited. Evidently, Tiffany is not as accustomed to the outside world after the lockdown. Perhaps she should learn some manners when writing her next review. All in all, I was splendidly glad with my experience at this establishment and the oat meal cookie brightened my day! Thank you, to that handsome young man.

Ice cream is excellent, highly recommended! Staff is friendly and willing to let you taste a flavor before purchasing a cone. Ask them about their favorites!

I cannot say enough good things about this place. It is a small shop but the ice cream is a BIG hit! There are a variety of ice creams to choose from and they have seasonal flavors that rotate (monthly, I believe). My husband and I love to stop in often!

The gentleman that runs the shop is very nice and hardworking.

Grew up with my family making homemade lemon ice every summer, and their lemon ice is pretty much the best I’ve had since then! Sweet, tart and the texture is perfect.

I recently visited Sunday Memories - Ice Cream & More on the east side of Bishop Road just north of Wilson Mills Road in Highland Heights, Ohio. The store is located in a strip mall with plenty of free off-street parking in an L-shape parking lot. There is diagonal parking between Bishop Road and the strip mall. There is parking at the north end of the building too.

Sunday Memories reminds me of the neighborhood ma and pa Ice cream parlors of my childhood. Sunday Memories offer Ice cream treats - no soft serve treats. The store is counter service only. There is limited indoor seating. One table and counter seating along the window wall facing Bishop Road.

The decor is whimsical. Each month they change the decor. For April, the decor is Easter centric. Sunday Memories is family friendly. My visit is on a weekday afternoon. There is one counter person on duty. This is my first visit to Sunday Memories and the counter person is friendly and helpful.

I ordered a sundae - their sundaes are two scoops - with minty mint chip ice cream and black cherry ice cream. I ordered hot fudge with whip cream and a cherry on top. YUMMY!

The interior is clean and the uni-sex washroom is clean.

Sunday Memories - Ice Cream & More is a neighborhood jewel I am glad I came across. If you enjoy ice cream with your family, you too will enjoy a visit to Sunday Memories.

I recently returned to Sunday Memories and enjoyed a milk shake with Strawberry Fields ice cream. Very tasty.

As a Cleavlander perhaps it's unanimous that Mitchell's is the best ice cream ever ! Until we moved to Richmond heights and tried Sunday Memories. While the flavor selection is not as wide, this is the creamiest light weight ice cream I have ever tried. The ambience is so homey and warm and the staff are brilliant. It is tugged in a small corner this hidden gem. I would definitely recommend you check it out . I do hope it gets more buzz as i think it truly deserves it!

So glad we found this sweet little ice cream place tonight on our date! The ice cream was fantastic and mindfully crafted. We're going to have to come back and try the baked goods soon!

Visited this place for the first time ever today. That's funny because I live less that a half a mile away and use bishop rd all the time. The two ladies working there answered all my questions about what type of treats they serve. Very pleasant experience, I will definitely recommend and will enjoy going there in the future.

I was up here with my girlfriend a few weeks ago. After running a few errands with her we stopped here for some ice cream. I didn't realize that I was going to get 3 huge scoops...a pleasant surprise and a pleasant way to end the day

Great ice cream, and service. We came back when it was Hershey's ice creams, and we didn't like it. That was about 6 to 7 years ago. We just came back recently, and this place has utterly improved. Great ice cream, and awesome service.

I prefer the hand dipped ice cream. I also like independently owned small businesses. Portions are huge, ice cream flavors are great.
