The Ramp

Definitely a great place for a nice, formal night out. The food is amazing, the drinks are great, and the atmosphere is to die for, especially if you sit out on balcony so you can eat and enjoy the beautiful lake. We went when it was a little cold out and they had the patio area heated which was awesome! And to my surprise there was even live entertainment out there too! Definitely going back for our next date night :)

The four of us were very happy with our food. The Ramp burger, Salmon Salad, and short ribs all very good. The view out on the patio is beautiful!

We had a great dinner at The Ramp tonight! We arrived for an early dinner at 4:30pm with a group of 6 + a baby. Our server Jordan was excellent! We started with the sauerkraut balls, delicious. I had the ahi tuna wrap with their sidewindes, amazing! The half rack of lamb with mushroom risotto was awesome. Everything was just great!

Absolutely fantastic! Everything was delicious and the staff was some of the friendliest I've ever had anywhere. It can be pricey depending on what you order,but it's worth every penny.

Came here for a fundraiser.
So I didn't really get a chance to try all their food. It was only rigatoni and salad but that was one if the best I've had.
The view is a relaxing site overlooking the Portage Lakes.

I ordered the salad my wife order the and my daughter and her friend order the pizzas.
Jason, our waiter, was very professional, yet pleasant with our group, my wife, daughter ,her friend and me.

My wife LOVED the brussel sprouts with the chicken. They had an interesting seasoning.
The wings had a garlic butter dip... Also good.
The girls ordered a meat pizza w/o pepperoni and ham. It had a lot of cheese.

We also ordered fried pickles... Probably the only letdown as they were only ok.

I had Art's Salad. Very filling could've been better if it were served in a bowl. Still worth the price. Good sweet and sour similar to a poppyseed.

The view is worth staying around and relaxing.

Excellent food with an amazing view of Portage Lake! We had wonderful mussels and a delicious chicken wrap. What a relaxing way to have a meal!

Although it's more of an outdoor portage lakes warm temp restaurant, (I think!), my hubby & I were fine being inside on a grey evening. Kelsey our server was really warm and welcoming. My husband didn't want the crab served per the menu with the sauces and so forth. Kelsey went to the kitchen to make sure that his scallops were "unadorned"and he was happy. I had the perch and it was excellent as was the salad which was surprisingly, for a simple side effects salad, very good with the white French dressing. We had a very nice evening at The Ramp.

Have been looking forward to going here all week! They far &away exceeded all my expectations. I had the rack of lamb, which was superb & prepared perfectly. We also enjoyed our waitress, Chloe, very much. Cant wait to go back!

Great food right on the lake! My wife enjoyed the Ramp Burger while I treated myself to the Salmon with garlic butter and mushroom risotto. Some of the best I've ever had! We watched the boats on the water while we enjoyed a beautiful day. A great "date night" destination! Highly recommended. We'll be back.

Very kind staff, the draft beer was good, especially with happy hour until 7pm. Not to mention a great view. A few vegetarian options...an overall great place.

Try it again! The Ahi Tuna is highly quality. Crystal our server was very good. Food and drinks came out timely.

We sat out on the enclosed, heated deck for dinner. It was very comfortable and we enjoyed the view. My wife had a nice size chicken salad and I enjoyed a delicious strip steak. The steak was done to my liking. We've been here several times and look forward to returning.

PLX salad with chicken was good. Prices fair. Waitress was excellent being very attentive

Had the best dinner, unsure when we walked in, the gal who seated us was either having a bad night or just not a happy camper but then our waitress Rebecca came to take care of us. She was amazing, super nice and quite the asset to the Ramp! Very personable and friendly and on top of a great ribeye steak dinner we will definitely be back!

Party of 4. No complaints. Good food and Jason was a great server. I will be back to dine again.

We came here for a birthday party, and the staff was absolutely amazing. They gave us undivided attention and even bought us some appetizers …..and we came at closing. And nobody made us feel like we had to leave. I absolutely love this place. Melony, Neek, Jimmy! Thank you!

Great atmosphere and food was delicious! The service was phenomenal!!

Had bean soup and a Cobb Salad. It was fresh and delicious. Soup was Arts bean soup and it was great. Can't say much about our waitress.She forgot my soup until I reminded her so it came after the salad. Had to get another waitress to get our bill then had to get someone to take our bills. Don't think waiting tables is the job for her

This place in a must, sits on Portage Lakes. The food is excellent, sometimes the service maybe slow, but seems like no one wants to work , they do a great job with limited staff.
