I am not handy at all, but decided to build a chicken coop myself and did it!! I give a lot of credits to the staffs at Outdoor Hardware Supply in Moraga!! They showed me what tools/nails/materials to use, took their time to explain DIY steps, and in several occasions, helped me to cut pieces to size/shape!! This is definitely a local gem, and I am glad I do not have to leave town to get what I need.

Great place looks familiar😏 OSH clever. I called ahead looking for a portable heater. The person on the phone was very helpful saying they had allot of them at the front of the store. I went over there with a half hour before closing time. I got help with all the heaters to turn them on and listen to them as I wanted something quiet. I bought a great little heater that was on sale and got out of there in a few minutes. Great service! Thanks.

Good prices, organized store. They now carry this Weatherwash stain which instantly ages wood. OSH is on top of the latest cool trends.

Drove to this store in Moraga from Oakland to rent a Bissel rug shampooer. Less than $70 for 24 hour rental! If I'd been able to get an appointment with Coit or Stanley Steamers for the next day (couldnt), it would have cost me $245 for 2 rooms. I did all three and it looks great! I'm a Senior in her 70's and could manage this carpet cleaner, even with stairs.

I was looking for a window A.C. and the customer services I got today was excellent! Walked in with my very active 6yo son and a rep introduced herself to me... a plus in my book. She then helped me to hand selected what I needed for my custom size window and then took it a step further with help to my car. I was very impressed when they brought my son a free store apron and total me about the kids classes they have. We will be there! Thank you

Orchard Hardware by another name. Prices are a bit more, store staff is nice when you can find them, and they have a good selection. They still pay the same songs over and over in the store Orchard played over and over for the past 40 years. One would think they would pay for some new music or just not play any music at all. Listening to the same musing over and over is pure torture.

So glad OSH came back. I miss a few of the old employees from Orchard - they were very knowledgeable, but as time goes by the new Outdoor reincarnation is starting to feel like the good old Orchard

OSH is there when all the unexpected things break. I love you guys. Their Covid-19 game is on point with lots of masks, deep inventory, and curbside pickup. OSH is my happy place.

The staff is always so helpful and nice. Feels like an old fashioned hardware store...great option to the big box stores.
