If only I could give The Cat Hospital of Fairfax 10 stars I would. I have a cat that has been sick and they have gone above and beyond. I have had to reach out to them with questions many times and they are always very responsive and caring. They call or email me back quickly. My cat used to see Dr. Ellison but since her retirement we now see Dr. Colahan.

I love The Cat Hospital of Fairfax. Dr. Ellison is amazing and cares so, so much about her furry patients. We just took in a very sick little kitten, and they have done an excellent job treating him and getting him back to health. Would recommend this place in a heartbeat!!

I am so so so happy to have found this feline only clinic. The staff was amazing from the very first phone call. I told them my little girl was sick and they got her in the very same day. Dr. Colahan called and sent multiple emails to follow up to see how my little girl was doing. She followed up with the specialist my cat was referred to. Overall, it was such a positive experience. I was so upset about my little girl but thanks to the Cat Hospital of Fairfax she is doing much better.

Dr. Ellison and her entire staff are competent, dependable, knowledgeable, kind, helpful and caring. There simply cannot be a finer place to trust that the health of your cat is in good hands. Dr. Ellison actually saved my cat's life twice by her perceptive care. Her catside manner is superb...I believe my cat likes her best!

The doctor was amazing and answered to all my questions. The staff was easy to work with and cooperative. The clinic has above the charts services. The only thing that I didn’t like were the prices, they are considerably above average.

Dr. Ellison is the most knowledgeable and caring veterinarian I've ever met. I've taken six cats to her over the course of 20 years, and they've all received world class care from someone who really GETS cats and clearly puts in a lot of time to stay on the cutting edge of feline veterinary practices. Highly recommended.

I won't take my cat anywhere else. This place is worlds better then your Banfields and your VCA's. I highly recommend them, especially if your cat is special needs as I feel they have resources those franchise practices do not.

Dr Ellison is so great with cats. You can tell she really loves all cats. This is a cats only place so no barking dogs. I think it's a little expensive but most vet care is. I go here because of the care.

Excellent service! Our female cat recently had a tumor, and the vet and her assistants removed it and provided service which took care of the problem without traumatizing a very skittish animal.The staff are caring, the atmosphere (for a vet hospital) is pleasant, and it is close to where we live. What more can one want?

Caring, compassionate and expert in the specialized care of the feline culture! Dr. Jan Ellison is the best! The hospital is run and operated in a manner of cool, calm and collected just like the Doc!

Passionate staff, reasonable prices that they tell you upfront which I appreciate. They work with you on a health plan, no guilting if you decide to forgo anything. Kind and caring from receptionist to vet; Super positive experience, came out with a water bottle in the middle of the exam since it was extra hot and I waited in the car due to COVID precautions!

They've been great with both of our cats! They respond quickly to questions via email, provide notes after each visit, and seem to really care about the animals.
