Bellissimo Restaurant

The restaurant itself is small, but the dishes have big flavor! We came in at 6:30 on a Wednesday and there was plenty of seating available. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. Not a lot of food options, but everyone enjoyed what they ordered, and we each got something different. Definitely recommend!

We went for 2023 Restaurant week and had a 3- course lunch for $25. The Burrata salad was amazing with incredibly fresh pesto. The Veal Ragu fettuccine was delicious as well. The goat cheese was very creamy and added an extra something! Would definitely recommend a visit!

Kicked off The Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington’s (RAMW) Winter Restaurant Week (Jan. 16-22, 2023) at Bellissimo's in Fairfax. This restaurant has always been one of my favorites. The atmosphere is cozy and the food is wonderful. There is a three course fixed price menu this week for Restaurant Week which offers a lot to choose from. I really enjoyed the Tiramisu which was a perfect way to end the meal. This restaurant also seems to be popular for special occasions. While there I noticed one table with a large bouquet of roses and saw another large group sitting in a small more private room. Finally, there is free parking in a lot less than a block from the restaurant which is very convenient. Enjoy!

We came in to the restaurant for our friends birthday. Mario and his team were amazing! They were so professional and polite! They gave us a wonderful experience. The food was delicious. We were treated like royalty!

Went for my birthday dinner. Service was great and fast. The place is so charming and the music was the cherry on top. The food was good and the wine was amazing. Very nice experience. Perfect for a date night when you want to actually enjoy your company and have nice conversation.

We had an anniversary dinner here and enjoyed the food very much. We ordered appetizers Burrata ( excellent), salad (good), lamb shanks (excellent), veal (excellent), chocolate mousse (excellen) and tiramisu (excellent). Definitely will come back again to try other food.

My husband and I came here for the first time for restaurant week. They only served what was on that menu. We didn’t mind since that’s why we went. They were very busy!! The wait for the food was long but they offered us complimentary Prosecco which was nice of them. The food definitely tasted better than it looked (at least for the app I got)

Space is pretty small but we sat on the wall area which I felt better in because there wasn’t too many people walking by us constantly.
Restroom was also clean which is a plus 👍🏼

I have never been to a nicer Italian restaurant. In fact I'd say I've never been to a nicer fine dining restaurant. Not only is the food fantastic, (get the Salmon!!!) they care about presentation and cater to their guests needs before they even know they have them. My water glass never got past half full, I was checked on several times while I devoured my delicious dinner. There was hot tea to warm me while dinner was being prepared and chocolate mouse as a sweet treat afterwards. I live no where near here, but I WILL return.

The food is delicious, the staff is wonderful. Love the atmosphere of the restaurant. There's a lil wait time but so definitely worth it, it's also affordable a 3 course meal for the price of $35/per person so inexpensive. Would definitely come back maybe around the spring or summer.

Excellent night, food and service great. All was good on restaurant week last day. I will go back for more.

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner before seeing a performance at GMU Performing Arts theater. Service was very attentive. Their bread is very much like authentic Italian bread. The shrimp bisque soup was delicious and the callimari was delicious, tender and very different then what others serve. My wife had the Rock fish and I had the Lamb shank. The Lamb shank was soft, tender and very tasty. The meat just melts in your mouth. The Rockfish was good but maybe could have used a little more flavoring.

I had a romantic date with my wife at your restaurant and everything was delicious and the atmosphere was very pleasant for both of us.

I lived in Italy for a month, so it’s hard to be impressed by an Italian restaraunt... but Bellissimo did it.

The food was impeccable - my roommate and I were pleasantly surprised at how affordable the lunch special was. The pasta was authentic, the salad was fresh, and we’ll definitely be back.

Delicious turkey dinner w/wonderful helpful staff! Great wine selection and desserts were amazing!! The restaurant was crowded but it was Thanksgiving!! I'm planning on going back soon!!

Small restaurant. The service was very friendly. The seafood pasta was beautiful to look at and cooked to perfection.

What a great find for us. We really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere here. My wife got the signature lobster stuffed ravioli and I got the veal with porcini mushrooms. A bottle of wine. Fresh bread. It's a small place. Maybe 15 tables. It's a tight fit, but okay. The beef carpaccio was really nice and fresh. It is definitely a place we'd return to

We had an appreciation dinner for a group in my company. We really enjoyed everything about the restaurant. We had a great meal and great service.

Of you're looking for a high end, authentic Italian spot, the tour search ends here. This place is the real deal. Legit Italian food, one of those places where you're talking about what you are for the rest of the night. Definitely worth checking out.

I came here with my wife for restaurant week since we liked the options offered on their dinner menu. I got the braised lamb shank which came with parpadelle pasta. I enjoyed my food and although we waited a long time to receive it, we could tell that the restaurant was very busy and the staff did all they could to make us comfortable and content. They offered us Prosecco on the house for our wait, which was very kind of them. 5 stars for service.

Everything was delicious! My wife and I had the Cesar Salad, Toretto Mozzarella, House Wine, Lamb Shank, Crabmeat Ravioli, and a double order of Chocolate Mousse. Finished everything! My wife especially loved the Braised Lamb Shank, very tender meat. Service was on point, no complaints at all. I recommend everyone to try Bellísimo Restaurant, you won't be disappointed.
