I was one of Dr. Lewis patients back in 2018 I must say he was by far the absolute best OBGYN I’ve been to. I was high risk and so scared that I could possibly go through a pregnancy like when I was carrying my 1st but he made me feel so comfortable and so at ease I tell you I had no worries after every appointment. I was upset because he couldn’t deliver my baby because the hospital I wanted to deliver at he didn’t go there but I will highly recommend Dr. Lewis to everyone.

Dr. Lewis has been the family doc for more than 15 years. He's the best...his staff is great and we recently met his physician partner Dr. Gupta...also excellent! My father was a practicing physician for over 50 years and Dr. Lewis reminds me of him..."house calls" and calm demeanor!

I like Dr. Lewis a lot. I don't need frills and puffy clouds. Tell me what's up and fix it. That's my experience. Kerry is very knowledgeable and has a unique personal professionalism. Very efficient office, and Dr. Lewis is the smoothest blood drawer I've ever experienced and I've got tough veins. I've been a patient for 21 years and recommend him highly.

I was a new patient from out of town, going for my first ever general checkup.
First off, the receptionist was very professional. She asked for my name and insurance card, gave me paperwork to fill out, and asked me to wait for the doctor while she processed my information. I don't know what else the other Google reviewers could have expected of her. I thought she had a good attitude and was very professional.

Next, the assistant took my measurements and blood pressure and asked general questions about my health. Again, very professional and polite.

Lastly I met with the doctor himself, who listened to my breathing and took blood samples for testing. I am afraid of needles, but he was very quick and painless, I really appreciated that. He asked pertinent questions and listened carefully to my answers. Overall he was professional and made me feel comfortable.

My exam took only 30 minutes. Also the waiting room, exam room and restroom were clean.

Perhaps because it was early in the day, no one seemed rushed or impolite. If you are concerned about either feeling rushed or having a long wait, maybe make it easier on the doctor and yourself by scheduling an appointment early in the morning or at a low-traffic time.

Overall a good experience. Thank you!

Excellent GP, his front staff once they changed and inter grated the "no office payments" made keeping my bills chaotic. Preferred the pay and go option. Was easier and didn't worry if I owed money. His front staff needs to learn service and how to be friendly.

I have been going to Dr. Lewis for years. He has helped me through the viral flu, a bad rash on my face which turned out to be poison oak and my ADHD. He takes his time, bedside manner is wonderful. I have worked in the medical field for over 12 years. Dr.lewis in my mind is one of the best!

Dr Lewis has been a wonderful physician for me since moving to the DC area. He is understanding and avoids being preachy like many modern doctors. Will continue to go there indefinitely.

I had a great experience with this office and Doc. The doctor was sympathetic to my needs and wasn't prone to over diagnosis. I appreciated this.

Also, in-office lab work was super convenient.

Dr. Lewis has been my family's primary physician for nearly 20 years. He's kind, personable, patient with his patients. He'll gently prod you if, for example, that cholesterol level is inching just a bit high. As noted in some of the other comments, the reception staff can be a bit curt over the phone, but good doctors can be hard to find. I'll gladly trade the occasional brusque appointment experience for a competent doctor who makes me feel comfortable.

My elderly parents have been going to him for 2 years. He is very patient with them and calls me to discuss results of blood work. He is like an old fashioned doctor who actually spends time with patients and lets them ask questions. My only quibble is what was pointed out previously- some of the staff are wonderful but some can be abrupt and rude over the phone.

Dr. Lewis's receptionist has been there for years. Her standard form of expression appears to have evolved from abrasiveness to maniacal rage, and she launches into a tirade at the slightest provocation. Catch her on an off day, and you'll have an experience you'll never forget. Unfortunately, you have to get past her to see the doctor. Doctor Lewis, on the other hand is competent and professional, but he seems to be oblivious to the waiting-room antics and avoids conflict. During my last visit, I informed him that I found his receptionist rude and abusive. His response was that "she's been there for a long time.” Though his answer begged a rejoinder, I managed to stifle myself.

It pains me to give a bad review because I’ve known the dr. Lewis for a very long time. His front office staff and nurses are not what they used to be, not personable at all. The office had changed a lot in recent years, I’d say ever since the doctor partnered with someone else. I recently ran out of prescription, just prior to my office visit, but the only way to get a refill was to schedule a televising and of course pay for it.
I had my off or visit two days ago and I’m still waiting for my new prescription to be sent to the pharmacy. I called the office to remind them but no one answers the phone. This is outrageous and sad at the same time.

I have very mixed feelings about the service at this office. The doctor is very knowledgeable however, I did not feel that I was properly cared for. I had many questions that went unaddressed and it seemed like I was just shoo'ed in and out as quickly as possible. Like another tally on a spreadsheet.

The nurse was skilled at drawing blood for testing. However I've been waiting for the results for over a month. Nothing has been posted on the online portal. I've been told they would call and read me the results, however after multiple times contacting them, I've received no calls and no information. None of the features on the portal are usable. I've set appointments, and rescheduled appointments via phone, only to be called asking where I am when I had already told them I rescheduled in advance.
So I don't know. Their internal communication seems to be lacking.
I want to like this place. It's a neighborhood family-oriented practice.

But all my experiences here have been substandard compared to other practitioners I have visited.

Unfortunately, I wish I could have started somewhere else with my primary care physician and do not recommend this location.

I wish there a just an option for poor and miserable. I called to make an appt last week and I am a new patient so naturally I asked for a physical, she quickly responded "we dont do physicals".....what kind of doctor is this? Then she said hold on and she was able to schedule me for the following week. She seemed very rude and irritated. Anyone can be having a bad so I let it slide. Called back the following week to cancel because I was referred to another doctor by a friend. She was extremely rude again and completely unprofessional. Treated you like it was the DMV not a doctors office.....stay away.
