Hamrock's Restaurant

This place is so cute and perfect for brunch! We tried the crab cakes Benedict, the taco omelette, and the breakfast quesadilla all of which were excellent. They also had several flavors of mimosas that were very tasty! The restaurant is located in a mansion and the inside is so adorable. Service was quick and very friendly. Overall a great experience!

Went there first time in DC winter restaurant week 2024 after lives in Fairfax more than 10 years, the menu was great and high value. Lobster bisque and crab soup were with large chunk of meats, duck dish was amazing, and seafood paella had lots of fresh seafood

Made a reservation for a Friday evening for 2.
We arrived on time and although we reserved for outside, we asked to be seated inside and they accomodated us.
They had a full menu and specials menu where you get a 3 course meal for $40 excluding drinks.
My wife chose the bisque and crab cake with lemonchello cake, while I chose the caprese, NY strip stake with the black raspberry ice cream.
The food was delicious and presentation was perfect.
Our server was kind and funny and made us feel at home.
The atmosphere was very nice and vibrant at the same time.
Highly recommend this place.

I recently had my baby shower here. The staff was amazing and the owner was very accommodating. We were able to show up early and decorate the whole room. The largest room inside fits 28 people but they can add more tables and relocate the hostess if needed. The meal started with passed apps then salad or soup and a main course. They let us bring in our own cake and didn’t charge us a cutting fee! The price was reasonable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for your next party!

What a wonderful spot! Easy to get to, parking is easy in the evenings in the lot next to it. It happened to be restaurant week and it was delicious! We sat on the patio. I was worried about bugs but was totally fine. We got lucky with perfect weather. Our server, Cailin, was SO nice, welcoming, had great recommendations and made the evening so relaxed. Thank you!

Great visit. Excellent food and attentive service. We had the 3 course special menu meal. Fairly priced. My wife had Lobster Bisque, Crab Cakes, and Lemoncello cake. I had Crab and Artichoke chowder, Deep Sea Scallops and Key Lime Pie. All of the dishes were tasty Americana style preparation and spicing. Definitely will be back.

My wife and I went for restaurant week and we were both blown away! The complimentary bread alone is a reason to go to Hamrock's. All 3 courses were amazing and the staff was courteous and attentive. The atmosphere is also very unique and welcoming. Give it a try!

This restaurant is exceptional! Homey and cozy. The perfect place for a unique dining experience. The food was high quality and delicious. I love supporting a small business and can’t wait to come again.

We had been meaning to try this place for a while and finally stopped by for brunch. Everything was absolutely delicious, and I love the ambiance. Plus, it’s no more expensive than going to Denny’s, but the quality is immeasurably better. I’m shocked it’s not more crowded. This is probably going to be our new brunch spot, and I can’t wait to try their dinner.

This place is a favorite of my aunt. I've been twice. It's a bit expensive but it's worth every penny!! I cannot recommend the lemoncello cake enough!

This was the best breakfast I’ve ever had! I got the breakfast platter and the potatoes were the perfect crunchiness, french toast was excellent texture, and they had great coffee. The service was tremendous too and everyone was so nice!

My husband, George and I have been to this restaurant quite a few times. The food is always good, the service is impecable and the ambience is wonderful. We were there for dinner last weekend and as always it was a wonderful dining experience.We decided to use their catering menu to order food for a dinner party for out of town guests. The entire meal from appetizers to desserts was absolutely amazing! It made for a wonderful evening with delicious food and plenty of it.

We came for restaurant week and left thoroughly satisfied with the quality as well as the value for the price! I had the lobster bisque for appetizer which had the right amount of creaminess and flavor. For the main course I had the lobster ravioli which was absolutely bursting with flavor. Finally had to end it with the chocolate cake which was super light and the chocolate ganache on top was just the right amount of smooth texture with the cake.

Been to Founding Farmers, Sweetwater, Mike's, etc. This place is just excellent and highly recommend it.

To start off, the service at this place was very good and professional. The quesadias were just out of this world good. This place will be my go-to place for brunch. I've tried lunch and dinner and they're even better than brunch! This is an excellent restaurant.

Went with my family for brunch. Simply Extraordinary! I mean, when do you have a chance to dine at a place that's almost 200 years old? And on top of that, enjoy excellent food and service? Hamrock is a hidden gem. I highly recommend it.

I hosted a baby shower luncheon for my daughter at Hamrock’s. It was a wonderful afternoon with great service and delicious food. Highly recommend!

I was there for a private event and had the best gluten free crab cakes! But even better than the food was how accommodating the staff was to my dietary needs. I have to give a huge thank you to Mari for being such a wonderful and kind server!

This is a quant place! The food was all delicious! We spent $50 on sodas, two entrees and one dessert. The Curry chicken salad was really good. The service was friendly but a little inattentive. I recommend Hamrocks for the food!

Saturday bunch. Got here by 11am, we sat at the table in the garden it was a relaxing vibe. Welcome pasty basket was served. We ordered Avocado bruschetta and Crab Cake Benedict as recommended by our server. Both dishes were delicious. I saw there are gluten-free option for desert too but haven’t tried. My most love about this place friendly attentive staff and table in the garden.

Hamrocks is such an amazing place! Their food is absolutely amazing and the way it is presented is absolutely exquisite. The staff is very friendly and highly knowledgeable of the menu and drinks. If you are in the area it is a MUST!
