U-Haul Moving & Storage of Parham Rd

Showed up Saturday at 11/18 at my reservation time in the early morning (please for the love of god do the online reservations) and a Saint of an employee was drowned in customers with no reservations ALL ALONE. Phone ringing nonstop and she was somehow multitasking answering the phone and taking the customer’s information that should have been already entered via the internet reservations before they showed up. She deserves a huge raise & promotion because I have never seen an employee so swamped. Luckily I did my reservation for my trailer ahead of time, she had all my information and I forgot I needed to add my cousin as a driver and she added him to the list of drivers in lightning speed through texts and photos of driver licenses, other customers took between 20-45 minutes and my rental took 5 minutes max thanks to preparing online the night before. Just still astonished and so sympathetic for the strong woman holding down the entire operation all by herself with a room full of dozens of bad customers who did not feel like going online to ease her process of doing her job getting them in their rental trucks. Caucasian woman with brown hair and glasses and long black nails very well kept. I doubt they realize how valuable of an asset they have from hiring her, but on Saturday mornings it’s a pretty bad idea to leave 1 employee handling everything. 10/10 for her, 3/10 for uhaul company bc price was reasonable but 1 employee helping dozens of customers isn’t the way to operate.

I always do my research before buying items, was looking for packing peanuts and online would take 2 weeks to arrive and they weren't cheap. Called UHaul on Parham to inquire about packing supplies and Cynthis was so helpful. They had what I needed in stock so went to pick it up. Cynthia and the staff were extremely kind and friendly. Moving can be so stressful and they helped ease that stress.

I have lived all over the US and have never seen such an impressive facility and staff. They not only have moving supplies, every size truck/van rentals, storage units both with and without climate control. Can't say enough about the helpful knowledgeable staff.

For all your storage and moving needs be sure to check them out. If I could give more than 5 Stars I would.

It seemed like there were only two young guys running the whole facility in the time I was there, and they did a great job! I worked with one in particular (wish I had gotten his name), and he was so helpful. He went above and beyond, even going so far as to return the truck for us, despite it being a few minutes after closing, and he was clearly leaving to go home. Those two guys deserve a raise for the hard work and great customer service they provide.

Nice clean trucks . Staff was Shipley handed but they work fast to support everyone. They are not Chesapeake but , you get what you pay for . Nice grounds . One of the cleanest UHauls I have ever been to

Have used this U-Haul location multiple times and have had a great experience. They’ve always been accommodating and had the rental vehicles I needed. Also, I just enjoy the simple rentals that Uhaul offers.

Returning the vehicle here is also very easy. As long as you follow the directions once you get back, you don’t need to do much more than drop the keys off and you’re on your way.

The guys at this location were great! The place was very busy, but these guys were very courteous and helpful. I had an electrical issue with my vehicle and they did everything they could to help me out, truly going above and beyond. Highly recommend renting from this location!

This location did a great job getting the vehicle ready and scheduled after hours. I scheduled everything online with no problems.

This location is clean, the staff is helpful and friendly, and they even have bathrooms in the main storage areas. We had to move things into our storage unit late at night due to our schedules, and it was easy to access and felt safe.

When it comes to u-haul I expect to wait when I arrive but this is one of the best. They have a huge selection of vehicles and trailers. The employees have always been very helpful and enjoyable to interact with. I have rented from them several times and have never had a bad experience. I recommend them to anyone looking to rent moving equipment.

Great customer service and very professional. Clean environment, storage units are climate control, or outside units. Your choice! Most of all, rest of sure that your storage is well protected by camera and security monitoring.

I found the employees helpful, friendly and flexible. Large selection of packing supplies and towing equipment as well. Would definitely do business with them in the future. They also had motorcycle trailers, which many similar places don't carry.

I usually get u hauls from them and it doesn't disappoint they are definitely on top of everything and know how to keep you coming they have great pricing and the u hauls are worth getting GOD BLESS YOU ALL IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF CHRIST JESUS AMEN!!!

This U-Haul location on Parham Road was incredibly helpful the other night. After originally getting a trailer, we started experiencing car issues approximately ten minutes after we left. We returned to this location and were immediately refunded for the trailer. Palmer Suk was by far the BIGGEST help and made this whole process for us very painless. Not only did he refund us for the trailer, but he also helped us find a truck to use that would be safe and efficient. He stayed with us for a full hour after the store had officially closed in order to help us get what we needed for this move. Palmer and this location were perfect! Palmer's willingness to help us even when his shift had ended was a great representation of customer service, and guaranteed that we will use Uhaul for all of our moves in the future. Highly Recommend !

I scheduled an appointment to have a hitch installed on my Nissan Kicks on Memorial Day. The gentleman who installed it came out and personally greeted me, gave me a time estimate and did a wonderful job. Finished in under an hour. I have always received top notch customer service from this UHaul location. I will happily reccomend them to everyone!

I called them and made a payment for two months. They didn’t process my payment and then told me ai have a late fee. Now every time I call they put me on hold. (EDIT) The manager worked it all out and got it updated

Diamond is a great customer service representative. She is knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I wish I could hire her and pay her what she worth. You should give a substantial raise and bonus. She is awesome.
