I purchased a pistol here, Mack was very helpful. I brought the gun home and noticed something wrong with the slide. I returned to the store a few days later and they exchanged the gun with no hassle since I had not even shot it yet. I recommend them to all my friends.

At first glance, Green Top looks like the other big outdoor sporting goods stores. But then you learn there's only one of them, it's still family owned, and it's been there since the 1940s. To me, that says something. They have an interest in the community, have great local knowledge, and are willing to share that with you. I was interested in a new kayak, I had done my reading and had honed in on a Nucanoe Pursuit. Green Top were my local dealer, so off we went. Within 30 minutes we were out the door with a brand new kayak on top of the car. I can't say enough about Todd, the manager of the fishing section. He talked us through it, gave us the best price going, and even helped us load an 80lb kayak onto the car. I went back a couple of days later with a minor concern and he took care of that immediately too. They didn't have the paddle I was looking for, but they ordered it for me straight away. Yes, I could have ordered it online, but I like this place and I like the people who work there. It seems to me that the more we can support local places in the community, the better off we all are.

Absolute best place for any outdoor sporting needs. The staff makes the experience. Everybody who works there is extremely knowledgeable in the department they work in and nobody is ever pushy or makes you feel like just another number walking in through the door. 10/10 customer service and amazing welcoming environment.

Fantastic store, staff, and product selection. Their customer service is unmatched, as well as their knowledge. I am beyond pleased with the 1911 and want to thank Josh for his help with everything. I will certainly be back soon to buy more. There isn’t another store in the richmond area as quality as Green Top.

I’ve been going to Green Top for over 20 years. The service and selection have always been the best. They will help you out whether you are there to buy or just looking. After they moved to the current location they have been able to keep up with great service and even more selection.

Busy as always, but they always have what I need for a fair price. Knowledgeable staff friendly atmosphere. Even though it's a massive store now, it still feels like my small local gun shop that it was when I bought my first gun.

This is an amazing store....it has a great environment, prices are extremely decent, the variety is unmatched, and the staff is top-notch. I even had someone offer to help me bring my stuff to my truck! Its like the Bass Pro shop....just 20x better and on steroids. I will drive the 2hrs everytime to get here without complaint

Green Top Sporting Goods is the best Sporting Goods store around. They sell all kinds of guns and ammunition and much more. It is a very clean store and the associates are very helpful. It is located in Ashland Virginia. They always have sales on guns and ammunition. They sell many other things as well. Me and my fiance frequent here about three times a week. I highly recommend Green Top Sporting Goods. I give them five stars.

Probably the best selection of outdoor equipment and attire in central Virginia, maybe the whole state. Prices are comparable to other bigger chains, sometimes even better. Best part is the HUGE selection of new and used firearms.

Incredible store with prices to match. Very helpful staff. They know the answers to all of your questions and then some. The Green Top Annual Expo is also a great event to attend for anyone intersted in the products that Green Top sells.

Huge selection of firearms and stuff that goes bang...new and used! Staff is helpful but can be overwhelmed due to the sheer volume of people shopping. Also a great selection of anything needed for outdoor recreation that can be found at Bass Pro Shop.
