This is a very interesting place to shop. The stores may vary a little bit in what they carrie. I do enjoy their store brands a lot. They carry name brand items also but the prices are compatible with other grocery store. You have to purchase your paper bags but that is never a problem and they are very cheap.

Aldi is the kind of place that will make the cheapest Saltine crackers out of anyone and make them better than anyone. And they stand behind their products solidly, a practice becoming scarcer every day. They better themselves continuously without ever losing their identity. Honestly a great store and a great chain that deserves every bit of success.

And the fact that they've cracked human behavior and solved carelessness with a simple returnable quarter delights me to no end every time I visit, since childhood. Well done, Aldi.

Always go to Aldis for coffee pods and sugar free coffee creamer. They have some great prices!

This is my first visit and I wasn't quite sure what to expect. Honestly I'll be coming back, not weekly for groceries, but for simple bulk items like oil, spices, condiments and product like that.

The overall assortment wasn't as large as you would hope but it has the essentials. If you're looking for specialty teas, coffee, or wine; this isn't your store. If you need milk, bread and eggs then stop on in. Their prices are unmatched all things considered.

Edit: The operating model is wonderful. I completely see how their prices are kept so low. Employees don't bag, or get carry carts back into the store. You pay a deposit for your cart and get your money back when you return it. Simple. They also have a nice little nagging area once you are done. #ProTip bring your own bags or grab empty boxes when shopping, otherwise you will need to purchase a bag when you are checking out. #ScottMcNuttReviewsRVA

No frills, bring your own bag, brand x low price shopping at its best. Oh, they do have bags, but you pay for them. They don't have many national brands but just a few. You really save by buying the Aldi knock-offs that are cleverly packaged to look famous. Not all will be happy with this penny pinching, but I love Aldi. You may need to buy your more odd and snooty items elsewhere, but you save lots on standard fare. Bring a quarter with you to unlock the shopping cart...(you get it back..) save save save

Today I went to Aldi, my 16 month on my hip, and a FULL grocery list. I finish my lengthy shopping and get everything rung up, toddler getting increasingly fussy. Card declines. Multiple times my card declines. The embarrassment plus the increasingly long lines behind me were almost too much. Long story short, I had a fraudulent alert on my account and I had no clue. It took an hour and a half to get through to the fraud department, find out the problem, and dispute the charges, of course ending in closing my card. I had run in and out probably 4 times to let the employees know I promise I wasn’t leaving them. Not only did they hold my cart, they held it in the cooler for the hour and a half it took to work out my banking. I walked back in to an insane line, PRAYING I didn’t have to reshop due to how long my banking took. When I walked in I saw an employee get on his radio and the next thing, another employee was wheeling my cart from the cooler to finish checking me out on a brand new line with no wait. Something so embarrassing and stressful for me couldnt had been made any better if it wasn’t for the help of the staff at this store today. Top notch customer service.

Really great specials. Might not be able to get everything on your shopping list but this is a great compliment to your weekly grocery shopping. This store is always well organized and if you check the ad you can usually find some great deals on pork roasts and other meat. Take home pizzas are great as well. There is also just cool stuff that you can't find at the big grocery stores and it is generally really affordable.

This location is one of the best locations in Richmond! The staff is amazing they always have my favorite items stocked, and the store is always clean. I frequently shop at this location everyday for my grocery needs and I'm never disappointed. Keep up the good work guys!

Great prices. Outstanding organic food selections. Great produce section. Awsome snack food choices for school age children. Good prices on meat. Frozen food selection has some of each category ,even deserts. Fast cashier. Dont 4get to bring your own bags or boxes. The savings are real. I usually spend
