Pigtails & Crewcuts: Haircuts for Kids - Clermont, FL

Took my son to get his haircut and Anita was phenomenal. She made us all feel very comfortable and confident that our son was in good hands. She was patient and attentive to our needs. We drove over half an hour to get here but will be return customers after our experience here today!

What a wonderful experience! Melanie treated my girl like a true princess. Pampering her with a shampoo cut and style. We also got nails painted and fairy hair! She was so fun and made our whole experience awesome! We also got a boys cut and my son loves it...and of course playing the Nintendo switch while getting a haircut! And playing on the train table while he waited on his sister ❤

I had read excellent reviews online and decided to give it a try. My son will be 3 in a few weeks and his hair was just way too much. The entire staff was excellent and treated us with respect. A child was crying when we got there, but everyone was doing a great job. I feared we would be that set of people with our son, but she made us feel comfortable and our son wasn't scared at all. It took a while because this was his first hair cut and had a lot of hair, but she was meticulous and his hair looks great! We traveled 50 minutes because this place had great reviews and it was worth it. He got to pick his own chair and they had so many toys to occupy him. I would recommend this place to anyone with kids, especially who are afraid to get their hair cut! I believe Chichi was her name and she was excellent!

The staff was very friendly and understanding, which you would expect. The First Haircut package is only $29.95 and includes the cut, plus a photo and first lock of hair keepsake. The area and location is nice, and they have plenty of toys and things to do while you wait and while your child gets their cut. They also have a decent amount of toys for sale.

Great experience for my 4 year old and fairly priced. The haircut was mastery levers and i wish i had let them cut teenagers hair. They have special needs training and are extremely patient. They take notes, the facility was clean and they make sure you are okay with what you’re paying for.

5 star service! Very caring and loving with my son. It was his first hair cut and he did well. We were very pleased and would recommend Melanie to anyone with small children.

We live in Winter Garden and booked Pigtails & Crewcuts since our normal haircut place was closed. We loved the experience! Our stylist, Natalie, took the time to listen to what we wanted for our son. She also checked with us before she made any cuts. We loved how well she worked with our very wiggly toddler and appreciated how patient she was with him! Will definitely be making another trip back!

Carole did such a great job on my son’s haircut. He is under 2 years old and has only had 3 haircuts. He is scared and the process and he has “stranger danger”. He can be a challenge since he cries for most of the cut. Carole treated my son with such patience and kindness and that made us feel at ease. We live in Orlando but will continue to make the trek to this location and ask for Carole.

The staff is amazing. I was so nervous about taking my 2yo to get his first haircut. I love that there's toys and magnets to keep kids occupied while getting their hair cut. As well as a little bag of animal crackers to enjoy during the cut. We had the best experience all around. We've definitely found the right place for all future cuts.

It was the first time that my children (girl and boy) were going to have their hair cut and my wife and I felt very well taken care of, we could notice the special care, dedication and love that the staff has for the children and their parents.

Highly, highly recommended and we hope to be frequent customers.

NOTE: We are a family that currently does not speak English very well, but this was not an impediment for the staff of Pigtails & Crewcuts, to provide us with a very good service.

I was nervous due to a few reviews previously that said they took clippers to the hair when they weren't wanted. Melanie melted those fears. She was so amazing with my son. At 1.5 yrs old getting his hair cut for the 1st time. I brought in a picture of how I wanted his hair styled and she completely understood. This, and her, will be where my son goes to get his hair cut from now on.

For added context, we live on the edge of lake county, so for us to visit this salon ot was almost an hr and a half ride, but 1000% worth it.

Friendly and fun atmosphere for both kids and adults to get their hair cut. Unfortunately as an adult you can't fit into the firetruck seat. Melanie was wonderful and gave me a great adult cut.

Very friendly and kid oriented. My son said “ This place makes you not want to leave”. We enjoyed the Disney movie entertainment while Alani fixed my son’s hair after a bad experience at Great Clips. We definitely will be going back.

I love Pigtails & Crewcuts and think Melanie is a magician. She keeps my little one so entertained and engaged and does such a great job even though he is constantly moving! I will never take my toddler anywhere else!

What a great experience. Steven loved that the stylist had a Nintendo Switch which made him feel comfortable. The stylist really listened to our input especially since he's never had his hair and we wanted to keep the length. Totally recommend.

Thea is our go-to stylist! She does a great job, is fast (not rushed but also doesn’t take forever), and is incredibly kind. She genuinely cares about the kiddos and it shows. We have been so pleased with her and will continue to book her. Thank you, Thea!

We’ve seen Natalie both times and she does such a wonderful job with my son — not just with his haircut, but being so patient with him. Thank you to the entire staff for patience and understanding with the kiddos who get very scared during their haircuts. I will always come here for my son’s hair!

This place was clean, welcoming, and best of all, on time. Melanie was fantastic and truly made us all feel at home. Her customer service is second to none and her demeanor with children is perfect and she made sure our daughter enjoyed every second of her first haircut.

Pigtails & crewcuts is such an amazing place to take your kiddos. Highly recommend Mrs. Melanie!! My son doesn’t do well when it comes to haircuts but with her she is so gentle & patient with him he doesnt even realize he is getting a haircut. She is the BEST!! I love how clean the facility is and how friendly and helpful everyone is. 10/10

Was nervous because for his first haircut he was getting sensory overload (son with Autism). We still walked out happy that day because they have a bunch of tricks up their sleeve to keep kiddos content.
Since then I’ve been cutting his hair at home for the next few years and he would throw a fit and cry. I can not cut hair to save my life but I wanted to try and take him again. I was scared to take him today but to my surprise he was completely content and we both walked out so happy. He stayed still the whole time, laughed, and had so much fun. Thank you!
