Went in for oil change and to service my Transmission. I have to say I love Chester the Cat. But the mechanics are freaking awesome. The entire staff was awesome. My car is going smooth they did an amazing job and you can not beat those prices.

This post is for me and my wife shayla Dowell, the mechanic and staff are so honest and absolutely amazing! We’ve been here a few times, this last time we asked the mechanic what needed to be done to get it to Georgia and back, he was honest and super friendly, we won’t stop going here for all our vehicle fixes. Oh and did I mention how adorable the cat Chester is, omg such a spoiled happy goofball!

I brought my 1966 Mustang in for a shaking problem after being told by two other mechanics that they didn't know what was wrong and J&D fixed it in two days. Not only was the work excellent, but I was charged less than the quoted price even though the car required additional parts. I highly recommend J&D.

The people here are honest and hard working. My son’s car was bought off of some shady people in Winter Garden. We had no idea they put the wrong engine in the car and sold it to us as is. J&D not only tried to repair it but were honest about the issues, they actually fixed it! Hoping the repairs last long enough for my son!

I brought my vehicle in for a wheel alignment. After a thorough check by the technician, I was told the alignment was fine. The tech and or owners were extremely honest. They didn’t try to sell me something else. They could of easily lied to me and made unnecessary repairs. I highly recommend this place.

Let’s be honest, there are 2 types of people that are hard to trust; lawyers, and mechanics, but J&D automotive changes the narrative when it comes to trusting a mechanic or automotive shop. These folks make you feel as if they are sincerely interested in your business, your safety, and satisfaction. Since moving to Clermont/Minneola, my wife and I were told about visiting J&D for a needed repair, and it was hard for me as I was done wrong at a shop once and visited dealerships only. But after the first time at J&D, I can honestly say we are committed customers to this business for all of our automotive needs. They make us feel as if they are caring for their own vehicle. Had front suspension checked out to get a second opinion after having another shop check it out. No problems with struts or anything else other than engine mounts needing to be replaced.

Installed power steering kit and 4 disc brakes with master Cylinder and all new brake lines. Mike and Daryl were more than helpful, reliable, honest and knowledgeable over most master mechanics. Believe the positive reviews! This place is amazing! Great prices, the best customer service I’ve ever experienced, and they had my truck in and out extremely fast. I’ve used a lot of mechanics around Lake County before but absolutely none compare to this place. I explained the problem in my truck, they took it in and diagnosed what I couldn’t figure out! They didn’t try to sell me other things or tell me I needed new blinker fluid. The front desk ladies were extremely nice too! I’ll be back if I ever need any service for my vehicles.

Took my '71 Plymouth Cuda in to have a new 3rd member put in. I purchased the 3rd member from Doctor Diff (3.23, sure-track II) as you never know when a quick rain shower will pass over head in FL and an open diff with big block (tons of torque) is not a good combination for traction (I had already had 1 close call). I dropped off the car, the diff, gaskets and fluid on my appointment day and about 5 hours latter I got a call that it was done. I picked up the car, the old parts and drove home. Everything was great. Cost was reasonable, service was quick. From the pictures on his site, he seems to do a lot on muscle cars and classics. I think I found my shop for future needs.

Not only did they charge me half of the price everywhere else was quoting me, but they were able to order a part from the dealer AND have my car fixed, back & running the very next day, as opposed to 2-3 days like expected. They are the friendliest ladies at the counter, and the best mechanics in town. They are definitely going to be my new mechanics, and I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants trustworthy, reliable, and honest people to work on their vehicles!

My car broke down and I had it towed there, they told me that they couldn't get to it for likely a week. I rented a car and they fixed it in a week always keeping me updated. I was surprised when they told me how much. it was half of what I expected to pay. I will always take our vehicles there
