The Taqueria is one of the most fun places to shop for equestrian gear in Wellington. If they don’t have what you need, they will order it..

Max was so present for an over the phone purchase that i felt 100% comfortable with making the purchase, on her recommendation.
I find the staff to be very familiar with products, but not pressing a sale, and even with a Wellington address, prices are fair/ comparable to any other tack store.
And... the shipping dept sent the bridle overnight, much to my delight!!

Great professional staff and new tack, clothing, housewares. Not elitist considering the level of clientele in Wellington.

…..and in the very epicenter of the Winter Equestrian Capital of the World is the Tackeria. An absolute melting pot for all things equestrian. I often visit for the perfect closing gift for a client, or a can’t live without piece of equestrian equipment. The shoes are awesome too.

We had a very helpful staff member guide my daughter to a decision on a new riding helmet. Came on a recommendation and left pleased!

Great service, great selection and knowledgeable staff

Incredibly impressed by the selection and customer service at the Tackeria! I placed an online order for a bit I was only able to find with them and to be safe selected 3 day shipping, hoping that it would be here within the week with processing time. I was called the next day to validate when I needed the order by, as a different shipping option would arrive just as fast at a much lower cost. Only hours later I received a notification that my order had shipped, and two days later my order has arrived across the country in CA. This is better customer service than I have experienced anywhere, and I am so pleased with my shopping experience. I just wish I found myself in Wellington often enough to frequent the Tackeria!!

An equestrian hidden gem out west. It would be easier to say what they don’t have. I needed a cradle as my horse had a tracheotomy and they had one in stock!!

I have been going to Tackeria for years. It has everything for horse people, fulfilling both categories of need and want. But the most important thing which makes this store great is the people. Throughout the years their expertise in different areas of horse health, horse care, show requirements of different disciplines, different kinds of equipment, fly sprays - the list goes on and on - has provided me with valuable resources. Tackeria has always been a great source of support for me. It's my happy place.

This place is dangerous but also one of the best tack stores on earth.

The Tackeria is not only an incredibly well-stocked and comprehensive tack shop that caters to all disciplines, they also offer a tack repair service that is fast, affordable, and convenient. Every person I’ve spoken with at The Tackeria has been helpful and thoughtful, and I wish I could give them more than five stars.

I love this place. Despite bring in pricey Wellington, their prices are competitive and the selection can't be beat. I try to order most of my horse items online from Stateline, etc... but some things I need quickly or for items that need to be sized I go to Tackeria. The customer service employees have always been helpful to me.

The customer service is out of this world!! Friendly to people and dogs alike. They helped me find everything on my list and get in and out quickly!

Update, still wonderful

Wow, this place is absolutely crammed with everything horse and horse farm. Not only does this place have clothing and boots but they have an enormous collection of tack, like several hundred bits, huge selection of halters and many shelves of coolers. They don't have a huge selection of farm equipment but they have all the essentials. The prices are typical but the selection is endless.

An excellent Store and service. The Staff were very diligent. I had an item shipped abroad and it was well packaged and on time. I highly recommend.

I found The Tackeria to be a dream come true. I live on the other coast and we are not fortunate enough to have a large selection of tack shops like this. I got a great deal on a show saddle pad. I think they have good prices, better then Dover. I also was assisted with some dressage boots and the girl that helped me was very nice :) I will be back again!

The Tackeria in Wellington is a beautiful, well stocked store and I always find something I want or need. Aside from riding gear it boasts a nice selection of gifts. The staff are very easy-going and helpful.
