Doctor Shankar is the Best! She is extremely knowledgeable, thorough, kind, patient and caring. Since day one she has always found time to take care of both my husband and myself. She has an answer for our every question and a great referral system. She recently spotted an issue with my lab work and quickly referred me to a specialist and followed up to confirm that I met with him. He researched and confirmed her suspicion of early multiple myeloma and started me on a treatment regime. Her office staff are all very pleasant and caring and go out of their way to accommodate our needs. We are totally and completely happy and satisfied with being under her care.

First appt yesterday. Everyone was professional and kind. Dr. Shankar is amazing! And on time! Definitely grateful to have found her office.

Dr. Shankar has always been attentive and informative - her clinical team is a bit on the rude side. They cut you off when you're giving info or asking a question. This is a very bad habit and should be addressed. Patients are customers, and we deserve proper customer service for the amount of money we pay.

When I called to schedule, I made sure to confirm that they took my insurance because I had been cancelled on by another doctor who realized last minute they don't take my insurance and had been waiting months for that appointment. They reassured me that they DO take my insurance, and set my first appointment three months out (for last week). Two hours before my appointment, after I'd already received a confirmation call and filled out my registrations online, Dr. Shankar called to tell me they realized they do NOT take my insurance, and (after three months of waiting and no medication management) my appointment was cancelled. UPDATE YOUR INSURANCE INFORMATION PLEASE. This could be deadly for chronically ill patients to wait this long for an appointment just to be cancelled on same day.
