The Home Depot

I wanted to tell you about the nicest cashier on Saturday, who had a Cancer Cap on. So happy to see her reaching her finish line for treatment! She was friendly and embracing life. I could not find my receipt to leave her feedback, but I hope that someone else sees this and gives her some more encouragement and appreciation.

I’ve always preferred the other hardware store until I started going to Home Depot. If someone sent me down in the middle of the store, I would never know which store I was in. The prices are pretty much the same. Some products are different. I did call customer support the other day on the phone and the lady was pretty rude. I’m not sure if she was in the Orange City store it went to the headquarter somewhere anyway didn’t get an answer to my question. She just hung up on me other than that I guess I will continue to shop there some the prices are competitive.

This is a clean, well-stocked Home Depot. There is plenty of parking with easy access to the garden center and the contractors area. The customer service staff were friendly and efficient.
Overall, pleasant shopping experience.

We placed our order September 5th but had forgotten to request a military discount so the following day I contacted customer service to ask if it was possible to apply to our order. The guy ended up canceling our order and said there would not be an issue reordering and getting the same delivery date. After a few minutes he seemed lost so I requested a supervisor. After speaking with her, She said the luxury vinyl floors didn’t qualify for the discount and was not able to reorder the planks with her. By this point I was freaking out being we had contractors coming to our new home on that delivery date. The supervisor ended up transferring me to the store. Paul and Stephanie were amazing and tried the discount on our purchase, sure enough we did qualify for the discount 🤦🏻‍♀ and our order would be arriving 3 days later because it was a new order. I received a email showing our order would be at the store Monday so we waited all day and called the 1800 to check status, it said the luxury floors were at the store. When we went to the store the staff Shakira was not too friendly and didn’t bother looking further Into our Order. The night supervisor went to the back and said it was there but he wasn’t able to give it to us because it had a “send back to sender” note but would leave a note on the boxes to not send for the morning manager. The next morning my fiancé called and spoke To Curtis who by the way is absolutely the best !!!! He told us the night supervisor He told us the night supervisor never put the "do not mail note on the boxes ‍ Curtis however went above and beyond and called another supervisor to see if they could give us our boxes. Not even ten minutes later he called us back and told us we could pick up our 35 boxes. Curtis is a true leader and it shows by how he positive he is to his staff and a great example to the younger men working at the store.

At the end of all my rambling I want to thank CURTIS, Stephanie and Paul for doing their job. They each took the time to handle our problems. Our goal was to have our new home ready for our family that will be coming this weekend.

The reason I'm giving 5 stars is for the great workers like Curtis who was quick to resolve our problems and make sure we left happy. Give that man a raise and promote him soon!! You don't get employees who go above and beyond like him in Florida so please make sure you take care of him. Paul for easily doing what took 2 other people who messed up my order and Stephanie for making sure she requested a supervisor and made sure we got our discount.

I also want to thank Pedro for being our first communication at the store and even went as far as going to the back to check the truck to see if our order was there. Definitely another great person !!! He rocks

For the night supervisor and help desk person Shakira they'll definitely need more training.

Just bought a house in Orange City and this Home Depot has received a ton of my money...lol Anytime my husband and I go here with questions there is someone that can answer them. Very friendly and not as busy as others. I especially like the garden center their plants have lasted longer than those I purchased at Walgreens and Lowes.

Nice big store. The store associate went above and beyond helping me get what I needed.

I just love home Depot because the CEO believes in the constitution and freedom. Lowes blows.

Found a particular type of light bulb I was looking for only they were three in a package and I only wanted one so I didn't purchase anything but while I was sitting in the patio section resting I was approached by a wonderful salesperson to help me check up my AC unit. She explained everything in detail and it was a very good price as well! Faith was very personable, professional and a beautiful person overall. It was a pleasure speaking with her. She's a wonderful employee and probably deserves a raise! LOL

I was surprised about how Mrs. Robinson took care about a customer who was looking for a truck and call him toake sure

Went to use my home Depot credit card on a new smoker and although they didn't have it in stock it was delivered to me free of charge the next day,so no problems with anything here fast friendly knowledgeable customer service A++++++ rating

Good morning Home Depot, As for the cleaning guy he did a fantastic job with the Restroom it was no mistakes under the lid⭐

Sometimes the people there will help you, other times they don't, but i'm fine with loading my own truck anyway so its ok. I still like the selection. Sometimes they send us good coupons too.

Good staff and always seem to have what you need

From nails to washer machine to plants to shed. Home Depot has the best prices and also products. Wood is my go to.

We all know Home Depot has great products and prices. I went several places to buy a plug for the bathroom and had to take everyone back. Then I thought of Home Depot good product still rubber for a stopper. They always have solutions for what you're looking your problems staff is very helpful.

Big thanks to the manager and employees at this location! Going far and beyond their duties! We are out of power since yesterday because of the hurricane, they were at the store getting things ready for tomorrow, but they are allowing customers to buy what they need! We have a kid in the house and we got a small gas stove ! The feeling of relive has no price! Thanks again!

We got our blinds from Home Depot. The best experience ever! Tanisha helped me get the blinds she was so profesional, good customer service. I couldn’t had done it with out her. Thank you Tanisha for proving the best service for going above and beyond. Steve install our blinds he was quick and very professional as well.

Went in looking at and for some plants. The garden shop was very helpful and Rick took care of me loading up some dirt. Thanks Rick. Mike in Hardware was very helpful as well, cutting some chain I needed for some huge plants and then assisted with the hooks. Thanks to all that are trying to be helpful at Home Depot

I ordered a large order to be delivered to replace my fence. When I received the order I had some broken material. I called the store and spoke to Samantha an assistant store manager. She immediately assured me she would take care of it. They picked up the complete order and re delivered. Everything is perfect with this order. I want to Thank Miss Samantha and her team on the professional and courteous way it was handled.
