The Book Worm Bookstore in Powder Springs

I had the pleasure of stopping into The Book Worm this past week and meeting the owner, Julia. Julia was thoughtful and attentive— dedicating the time to walk me through her store, their selections, and future plans for the bookstore. She even took the time to make a recommendation for me for a Christmas gift I was looking to purchase for my mother— an avid reader. She is passionate about what she does and her love for her store and books shines through. I will most certainly be back and am grateful that our community has a store such as this one to offer.

It's just the cutest little bookstore you ever saw. It's quaint, under great ownership, and is just my favorite book shop in the world. I always stop in and get a stack whenever I'm visiting back home!

The store looks Great! It made me want to take my time and just browse the different sections. I really love that they offer hand sanitizer as you enter in order to keep the spread of germs down. Keep up the good work 👏🏾

I haven't been here in a long time, but I'm so glad I stopped in! Book lovers, this is the book store for you. Especially if you're melanated, the representation is everywhere, and I felt seen! The Book Worm is a black woman owned business and deserves all your attention. The owner was so friendly and helpful. She really knows how to make reading fun for every stage of your reading journey. There are monthly Book clubs with drinks and perks, author visits, and even date nights where you get the store to yourself! If you've never been, check it out. If your new years resolution is to read more....The Book Worm is going to be your new best friend lol

Genuinely one of my favorite places to shop. The workers are very welcoming and able to help with any inquiries you might have, truly kind and impeccable customer service. The selection of books itself is amazing, they have a wide variety of choices from any academic books you might need, to a wild murder mystery peaking that curiosity. Safe and comfortable environment, I gladly recommend this shop to any not-so-sure buyers. Peruse the aisles to your liking and find just the right book for ya!

I only live 45 minutes away from this wonderful store, and I honestly can’t believe I have never visited before until this past Saturday. What an incredible store. It is cozy, calm, and has the most wonderful selection of books. Everything you could want in a bookstore, honestly. And I started following them on social media as well, and the owner seems amazing and delightful, and they always have fun and unique events going it seems. So yes, this has quickly become one of my favorite bookstores I’ve visited. Counting down the days until I return! Thanks for great service, selection, and such a welcoming and inclusive space!

Lovely store with very unique set ups! my friend and I bought a mystery set of books that we had a lot of fun opening up and seeing what was inside. They offered us a free book on the little shelf and free bookmark with our purchase. The customer service was great and I would definitely go back!

The Book Worm in Powder Springs is the heart of this downtown area, and it is so much more than just a bookstore (although it's a wonderful one of those). It brings people together, and there's always something fun and interesting going on there. Love it.

Amazing bookstore! I've been in here once, and I got some books. This is such a great spot! This place is bigger than I thought, it goes all the way to the back of the building.

The book store also includes CD's and comics. If you are having a boring day, the book store is a great place to be. There are so many books in every genre, you will never run out. 10/10, definitely recommend.

My partner & I celebrated our 3 year anniversary with a Date Night at the Book Worm! We had a wonderful time and loved the selection. Caved and took home more books than we planned😊 Will definitely visit again! Great service, clean shelves, and a fantastic selection (especially for younger readers!)

My friends and I stopped in after leaving the festival in Powder Springs. It is a delightful spot, walls lined with just about and book you can think of; Best sellers, along with the classics.

Well run bookstore in Downtown Powder Springs. Very easy to order books through them and they call when they are available to be picked up. They have taken health and safety very seriously during the pandemic.

Visited this bookstore for a Christmas event and they were very kind. We participated in the reindeer scavenger hunt and won a prize for finishing. The kids had so much fun ! The bookstore was clean and very inviting. We browsed the books and checked out the kid area in the back. They also have a sitting area outside to sit and enjoy your book. We will definitely be back!

Amazing!!!! Called in from out of state to get a gift certificate for my friend who lives locally and the owner, Julia was so friendly and helpful. Also the gift card presentation is so unique and beautiful! Locally owned bookstores are the best. I can’t wait until I am in town so I can stop by.
