Deer Lick Park

I take a cardio class here and it's awesome. Plenty of parking, restrooms are clean and the staff is friendly. Coach Mike's steps class is legit! Lots of fun and a great workout.
Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to burn off some holiday meals.

I love this park! The walking / running path is nice and smooth so you can push a stroller like it’s a hot knife through butter.

Obviously, due to COVID parts of the park are currently closed but I look forward using them when available.

There’s dog parks, skateboarding, multiple playgrounds, etc.

A great place to host birthday parties/family reunions. There’s covered, screened in outdoor pavilions.

It’s always clean and good to go!

Lovely environment and the regulars that attend the park are super nice and helpful. Everyone looks out for each other and their dogs and as long as you aren't a trash person, you and your dog will have an awesome and relaxing time whenever you visit.

This is a great park. They have everything, volleyball courts, about five tennis court, pond also can be use for fishing, about 5 frisbees holes or catcher. Skateboarding rink. Lot and lot of parking Available. And they also have a kid section park. With plenty of walking space. It is a nice park.

This was an amazing event the county put on for daddy daughter night it was truly first class and the facilities are amazing the staff was amazing I would highly recommend and I’m glad this place is in our community

I love walking laps around the lake. Now they have workout stations while you walk. Plenty of ducks to feed. They have a little mini free library box. You can bring your dog here too.

I absolutely love this little park!! There is a separate area for bigs and littles. Plenty of benches and shaded areas to sit.

Awesome park. many things to do. football field. baseball fields. tennis courts. street style skate park. play grounds. dog park for small and large dogs. lake with ducks to feed. large discgolf coarse. paved walking loop. lots of parking area. fairly spaced bathrooms. the county dog adoption site is also apart of the park. all fairly well maintained and mowed.

I have enjoyed playing indoor kickball here. I look forward to joining the outdoor league in the spring.

Always enjoy coming to feed the ducks. The playground is good at the right time of day, my son always enjoys it.

Great family park and good fishing. Today was fishing Derby and plenty of Bream, Catfish and Bass. Great for teaching kids a love for fishing.

I've been visiting Deer Lick Park for many years and have always enjoyed my jogs around the clean track. The park is clean and lively with beautiful ducks and other visitors. The restrooms are decent and it is one of Douglasville's best parks. Also, it has a nice skate park next to it and many tennis courts.

Nice place but nothing but the walking paths are open.

Great place to feed ducks, geese, fish and even turtles! Bring quarters for food dispenser. Also has a walking path with workout stops! Playgrounds are small but enclosed for runners!
*Update* playgrounds could use a little maintenance but kids still love it here.

One of the biggest Parks I've ever visited. Sonething for everyone!!!!

Deer Lick is a very nice park. We've been coming here for years. It is my wife's favorite park. It's is quiet in the mornings. There are beautiful trees and lots of ducks and squirrels It is nice place to relax and listen to the water. It is also a good place to walk or jog. They also have a nice playground for the kids and a nearby skatepark and softball fields. If you are looking for a laid back park to visit, I recommend it.
