Ochsner Health Center - Prairieville

The Doctor and staff at Oschner Health have been very efficient in scheduling prompt appointments, to their specialists, and diagnostics to aid in my total wellness! They genuinely have cared, with great kindnesses, for my overall mental and physical health!

My yearly visit was wonderful with Dr. Katie. In the absence of my Primary doctor and the timing of not being able to get into her. However, I brought my husband back the next day due to him feeling awful and the extreme long wait at Urgent Care. We came back the next afternoon for him. He tested positive for Covid 🥺 and I asked if they could test me and they didn't have time in their schedule. That was frustrating to me. No one was in the waiting room. Otherwise, I appreciate the lady at the front desk getting my husband in for an appointment the same day.

Front desk receptionist was very friendly and so helpful. She made me feel at ease right away. I left feeling good about my experience there. The doc was great as well. Definitely on a very short list of doctors that I would recommend to anyone.

Dr. Kendra Michael is very caring, thorough, down to earth, genuine, straightforward, and we love her! ♡ We were nervous after moving and having to leave our former pediatrician, but we were blessed to find amazing care under Dr. Michael and Ochsner.

We also love the way all the systems share information through MyOchsner online...it even gave me the option to sync info with services we've used at Our Lady and the Lake.

Excellent customer service and a caring staff. It is commonplace to think that when visiting a clinic that there will be a long wait, which we all dread, however, the staff at Oschner Prairieville go out of their way to ensure that the wait time is as short as possible. I was very impressed yesterday when Ms Jeannette came out to the waiting room and asked if anyone had been waiting longer than 20 minutes. I have been to this clinic several times over the last few years and have always left impressed with their empathetic and compassionate approach to patient care.

From scheduling my appointment to the actual visit I was thoroughly impressed with Ochsner. Their customer service was supreme and everyone was extremely pleasant from the receptionist to the nurse to the doctor to the checkout. I also love how everything is electronic and this location is a one stop shop for all my health needs.

Dr. Kendra Michael is an outstanding doctor. She is very personable, professional, knowledgeable and caring. Her nurse, Ms.Opal is also outstanding. They are extremely accommodating, caring, and fun. They insure that my children get the best quality of care and their follow up is unparalleled. I would highly recommend this lovely group for the best pediatric care in the state.

The visit was outstanding, from the time I walked in the door. I was checked in promptly. I know my Doctor is a busy lady, I waited a little beyond my appointment, but that was OK. Her nurse took me in. She was very polite and informative. My Doctor visit is always Great!

Good morning. My experience at Ochsner Health Center in Prairieville has always been pleasant. From the time I walk in the door I'm always greeted by my name. That makes me feel special and when I go to the back, the bedside manner of the student nurse, the nurse and Dr. Evuleocha is so very warm and pleasant. I love going to this location.

These folks get you in and get you out without being rushed like a cattle herder. Dr Schrock will take all the time you need to assess and explain anything you need to know or don’t fully understand. They treat appointments just like it’s meant to be. Very short wait times and they DO NOT over book patients. Love this place!

My visit was exceptional. The staff is professional, friendly and knowledgeable of my heath condition. It is a state-of-the-art facility. They make sure you are safe and protected by keeping the facility clean and sanitary and by following all the precautions mandated for medical facilities.

Kendra Michaels was the best!! I’m baby absolutely loves her she listens to what you have to say she ask questions and she also does her own observations and gives the best advice. It helps that she’s always smiling and energetic and down to earth.

I have to say this place has been great. The ladies that check you in are so sweet and seem so cheerful and professional all the time. The nurses are always so good with my kids and even the nurse that does the lab work is amazing. I really enjoy this place and im glad i bring my children here. Dr micheals is a wonderful pediatrician that really cares and listens to you about your childrens needs.

I love this location. I literally could take an hour lunch break and have my blood-work done and return back to work in time. You ca make appointments but you can also walk in because the location is an urgent care. The nurses, doctors, and staff are amazing. They won't judge you and they listen to your needs. I moved to another city but continue to come here (for non emergencies) because I love knowing that I will be well taken care of.

I have been using Ochsner Health Center at Praireville now for over 9 years. I selected a great Doctor, as my primary care physician, who is based out of that facility.

It is convenient to my office, they are not rushed as most Doctor facilities do these days and actually care for their patients.

I was extremely pleased when they started providing Covid-19 vaccinations there, so I immediately scheduled mine there.

Again, not rushed and extremely pleasant staff members there to provide great care for everyone who came in.

I could not recommend the Ochsner's facilities in Praireville any more highly than I did in this review.

They got my highest rating because they deserve it. Kudos to my Healthcare Team at Ochsner's Health Center in Praireville. Keep up with your exemplary service to your patients.

Whether the visit is in person or virtual, Katie and her staff are always friendly and thorough. Katie never makes me feel rushed and makes sure all my questions are answered. She and her staff are a valuable asset to Ochsner.

When I walked in both receptionist said hi. The receptionist I checked in with was so nice. I didn't wait long to be seen. The nurse that brought me to the back and the Nurse Petitioner were awesome. It was my first time there as a patient and everyone treated me like I have been there for years. Amazing group of people 💙💜💛

They came out to get me when they couldn't reach me by phone. My wait was short. I seen Dr Malur soon after I got in the room. He takes time to listen and is personable and thorough. They also allowed my husband in the room with me.

Dr Kendra Michael is an amazing doctor. Great bedside manner and she really took the time to engage with my daughter. Ochsner has an amazing physician. Keep hiring doctors like Dr Kendra!

This was my first time visiting this location however I had A1 service from the time Ms. Janette answered the phone!!! I'm upset that I did get the young lady name who performed my x-ray however she was amazing! Speaking to Ms. Wanda was a pleasure and of course Monica and Dr. Irene are totally amazing!!!!!
