Wooton's Landing Wetland Park

Beautiful. Peaceful but awesome nature sounds. Good walking paths and good fishing.

Very nice, cant WAIT to drop a line INTO the river & ponds. I walked the whole loop around the park About 2 miles. Nice walk but it would be nice to see a stump or bench on the trail other than 1 observation deck, FOR OLDER people like me with back problems. THAT WOULD BE A NICE ADDITION.

Great place to fish or just have a picnic. There is a portable toilet. Very clean and family friendly. I recommend stopping by if your in the Waysons Corner area. Grab a fishing pole, bait and lunch at the gas station right there. Great for a quick local getaway.

A hidden gem. The easy-to-miss parking lot and combination lock keep the crowds away. During the winter, in particular, you can often walk the entire trail without ever seeing another person. But bring good boots - the trails get very wet and muddy, to the point of being impassable in places.

I've seen beavers, bald eagles, and huge groups of Canada geese and ducks stopping through on their seasonal migrations. One of my absolute favorite places to walk my dog.

Wonder loop trail with both woods and marsh views

This is a nice little park with a 1.5 mile soft trail winding through swampy wetlands.

Beautiful park with wetlands and the flowing patuxent river, great scenery!
