Because of Covid I've been wanting to go to this restaurant for a long time and we finally go to go.
It was worth the wait and a very unique experience for sure from the friendly staff as we entered the plain looking store front. If it weren't for the food truck out front, almost blocking the entrance, you could just miss this place. We sat on their patio out back
We ordered the Cherry smoked deep fried crispy chicken wings and the hero sandwich. Both unique with flavors I've not experienced. Their menu changes so we'll have plenty to look forward to as we are definitely going back.

Came for date night and opted to sit out in the tented patio. They had heaters, but it was pretty drafty. Staffer that took our order and brought our food was very friendly. It just happened to be lent and so they were doing fish and chips and we decided to go with it.

They are know for their fries and they were awesome. Imagine Five Guys fries, but more crispy and seasoned. The fish was pretty solid as well. Not usually a fish and chips guy, but liked these. They were over an inch thick and really filled us up. The smoky ketchup they served with the meal was possible the best part.

The patio isn't anything special. The inside can be cramped, but I don't think they get too busy for that. They have beer, can only, and cocktails as well with a little deli section.

Parking is a bit of a mess. There are a couple spots out front. We ended up in the mechanic lot next door. Otherwise it's all on-street, which is Hampton.

This was the little small round white cake with a peach Confit ? and whip cream it was beautiful and the picture tells the rest! And the pork lion tacos with slaw and red onion is amazing I could only eat one kept last to revamp with my breakfast so enough for two meals well worth the price Every time I've been here love the staff love the different food that's on display hopefully they start doing the Quiche again LOVE THIS PLACE

This place has it all. Creative menu my favorite was probably the fried ribs. Get them before too long!

If you want to enjoy a delicious brunch, do yourself a favor and hit up Edibles & Essentials. I got the bacon sandwich with havarti, my husband went with the ham sandwich with brie and we got the gravy and biscuits to split. The bacon was thickcut and perfectly cooked, their breakfast potatoes were perfectly fried with a golden, crisp outside and tender on the inside, sprinkled with coarse salt. Not pictured: the mixed berry custard tart we split even though we were full... so worth it. This was our first time visiting Edibles & Essentials, but it certainly won't be our last. I'm sure the rest of the menu is just as amazing. Matt, the owner, is also very nice and knowledgeable; little details like that goes a long way and makes me more eager to give an establishment my business.

This place has a great atmosphere! You can buy beer for the go or relax there and order some food. It's a win-win. I love their patio!! I had to order some of their fries and it was delicious! Our server also had amazing customer service.

The food is always amazing and all made from local products. Best biscuits and gravy ever. Best breakfast food really.
Edit: still really amazing food and desserts, really great atmosphere and patio. No more brunch though. :-(

1st time there. Cozy, good food. Parking was eh, but that's the only real drawback. Would recommend, will go. back.

I've been many times, trust me, we're talkin' many many times! And it really is great food! The fries are legendary and they usually have a vegetarian option that is quite good. Tons of unique drinks and a smaller but unique menu. It's worth a try and the place could become a favorite quite easily.

Fried ribs and banh mi tacos are life changing.

Love this place. Matt and his staff are wonderful. The food is so good. Never had an item I didn't like. Lots of good wines to choose from and interesting cocktails. Tiny place.

This restaurant is absolutely divine! The menu is small but still has an excellent variety of choices. They have indoor and outdoor tables available. They're also an excellent venue for small and medium parties that they are happy to cater to. They also Supply catering for parties with a delivery option! All the food is freshly made and deserves more than five stars. I personally had the pork tacos and can't wait to go back and have them again.

This is one of those "neighborhood" places everyone wishes they had in their neighborhood. A friend invited us there for after dinner drinks. There is a great wine selection and interesting cocktails. The ambiance is between local diner and neighborhood shop. It was hard not to order food...it looked and smelled amazing. I will definitely be back another day to eat. The menu was wide ranging, interesting, and changes monthly. The staff was helpful and made sure that hospitality was their first concern. I can't wait to return.

Never disappointing, the food here is always delicious and the small staff is incredible and gives this place even more of a friendly neighborhood vibe. As a South Hamptoner I can safely say this is and has been my favorite go to for several years now. Worth going out of your way to try!

The food is top notch, unique and varied. Staff was all very nice. While it looks like there are only a few tables from the street, there is a porch on the back with a ton of seats...including several heaters for the colder weather. The fries are the best I have ever had. The only ones I have had that are better I got from their food truck at an event!

Love this place! The inside is pretty small, but they have an excellent patio that is really big. The food is amazing too! The french fries are a must. And the Banh Mi tacos are also delicious. Definitely recommend checking this place out.

Music in the rear court yard, daily specials, a revolving menu that stays fresh, and a unique wine, cocktail and craft beer selection. What more could you want from an awesome neighborhood place. If they've got it try the Fried Ribs or Thai salad! Also be on the look out for their Food Truck Essentially Fries!

Edibles & Essentials is one of our favorite restaurants! Not only is the food delicious, but the environment is very warm and welcoming. The rotating menu allows us to always try something new and introduces us to new, fresh flavors. Brunch is also really good!
