History
Baitul Mukarram Masjid (BIC) is located in the heart of the Washington D.C. Metro Area. Baitul Mukarram is a non profit 501c(3) organization. The masjid was established in 2002 with the initiative of eleven founding members. BIC is currently governed by a 11-member board of directors.

The objectives include:
To foster a Muslim community based on Islamic principles of brotherhood, equality, mutual help, and knowledge transfer.
To conduct a program of Islamic educations and to organize religious and social activities prescribed by the Qur’an and Sunnah for the benefit of the Muslim community.
To promote friendly and informed understanding between the Muslim community and the community at large, and to disseminate information on Islamic principles. To cooperate with other Islamic organizations to achieve its goals and objectives, following the law of the land.
BIC maintains good relations with Christians, the Jewish, Hindus, and other religious groups.

This masjid is well organized, very clean, always offer tea, plenty of parking and nice community. Love to come here for prayer

Super recitations from both Imam this year in Ramadan, even though the mosque is small, are very organized. We need to support to make it bigger, especially the parking lot. They have a goal of building one. They have 1.5 years left to start on it. They are looking for $400k, please; if you could help support and donate (check their websites) would be more appreciated.

It's good 👌 and friendly service

It’s a nice small masjid. The 5 daily prayers are held in the masjid and of course the Friday (Jumaa) prayer. Iqama is about 15 minutes after athan.

Alhamdulillah I have visited Baitul Mukarram Masjid on 19th of Feb 2022 Ma Shah Allah, Very nice, and clean Masjid. On Saturday and Sunday special classes for young children's. Nice location, enough parking. All the facilities available for prayer. love to visit again. Jazak Allah Khair

I love all masjid but this masjid reminds me back home,

Very generous, sincere and hands on people. They help a lot of needy, poor people and youths. I feel my spirituality boasted and calmness praying here. The Imam is very humble, knowledgable and has golden heart and voices leading the prayers. Enjoying it :)

This is a great Masjid in the area, brothers and sisters are encouraged to come. During Fridays they’re serving 3 times prayers and really helpful and appreciative for everyone.

Whenever i go to virgina the masjid that i am going there is this masjid. Lovely people , lovely moments

Alhumdulilah went for Mughrib prayer randomly with my wife as we were in the area. My wife was the only sister and 1 of the brothers showed her where the wudu station was. Facilities were good bathrooms and wudu. Prayer was prompt and everyone was nice and helpful. Would stop in again.

Beautiful staffing and strong attempts at maintaining the space. I would advise adding filters and vacuuming the floors between salah to enable more cleanliness during Covid.

Great Imams with strong Qirat (recitation) and knowledge. Hold multiple Dars, lectures, Quran and Tafsir courses.

Nice people and clean place for prayer...

Obviously masjid is the Allah’s house and is the best place on the earth. This masjid is located in a very nice area. The traffic around the area is not mostly very bad and the parking can easily be found around.
People are nice too.

You need to get there early to find a parking spot. They have two timings of Jumaa prayer for more convenience.

Very very nice to pray Maghreb yesterday. The recitation of Imam very unique. It is not very big masjid but well maintained. JazakAllah khair
