Under new management. Melissa is the new owner and reviews prior to 2018 do not apply to her. I have not used Buchanan realty directly, but the majority of homes that I saw in 2016 prior to purchasing my home were listed by Buchanan Realty. We had no problem viewing their properties. Melissa does work for me in another capacity and she is very reliable. I await new reviews from those who do use her services.

We have been a buyer and a seller with Melissa and she did a fabulous job with both transactions. She is very knowledgeable about the area and very professional. We would highly recommend her if you are buying or selling in the Beech Mountain/ Banner Elk area.

We had a contract to sell a vacation house and a friend told us that the sign was removed from the yard. Upon calling to inquire the status of the house, the realtor said she that she was overworked and told us to find someone else to sell the house and then hung up on me.

I worked with them to buy and tried to work with them to sell. They never responded to multiple emails even after I met with them in person. I can not recommend them as a listing agency. Very, very, poor service.
