Dollar General

Recently renovated the interior of the store and can I just say it is outstanding! The aisles are wider and although the square footage is the same, the store appears much larger. The staff is friendly and were obviously happy to have this new space to work.
We spoke with the manager, Eddie, and gave him our compliments as well. Check them out - you can’t beat their prices.

Just moved to BE and have been to the Dollar General almost every day. They are so convenient and the selection is astonishing, I don't know how they fit so much in there. It is always neat and the staff is constantly busy stocking and straightening shelves, but they always speak to the customers and are very helpful and friendly. I always find what I came for and then some. Great place to shop! Thanks for all the help, Joe!

Nice clean store, well stocked and plenty of food, general merchandise and food options. They offered quite a few little options including playing cards and toiletries and cleaning supplies. Highly recommend this location if you are needing just a few things from the store. If you are going grocery shopping, head to the Food Lion!

I am an assistant store manager at Dollar General I'm training to be the store manager this company is amazing they treat their employees fairly we try to carry all assortments of objects in Banner Elk we are like a small Walmart because we have a little bit of everything and there's a lot of people who comes in here so that way they don't have to go to Food Lion or Lowes Foods our prices are really really great and we have nothing that can match to it but you should stop by for yourself and experience the fun and the awesomeness of the sore

Very friendly and great convenient store close to home where you can get about everything you would need without having to drive 30 miles to other stores. Great prices.

I came to this place thinking stuff was a dollar, let me tell you somthing!!! There are thangs there they ask for $20.00 bucks..... I'm going back to Florida!!! I can't believe they would treat people this way, in gods country!!!

I wish all of the Dollar General stores would look as respectable as this one in Banner Elk. The young lady at the cash register was very nice.
