I went here on Tuesday morning to rent a board for my nephew. The guy behind the counter told me he had been up all night helping people because they had converted to an emergency shelter due to the bad weather the night before. These guys were heroes to all those people. And they gave me a good price on board rental. Plus the shop dog is beautiful and friendly.

I live part time in Beech. We always rent from you guys for our friends. Excellent service. Great prices. Friendly staff. Also what you did for all those families stranded from the storm letting them sleep in your shop is nothing short of amazing. You guys rock!!!!!!!!

Great service here! I needed a snowboard and boots and they had everything ready to go for me. Even got a crash course in how to get down the hill
In one piece (it had been a while.) The cost isn’t bad, I paid $67 for a two day rental and didn’t have any issues.

I have to say the staff is amazing. They helped my family with getting equipment and fitted. This is the first time my family has skied, which they all had questions, and the staff answered every question they had. Made them feel important. Highly recommend them!!!

I’ve never written a google review in my life but had to for these folks. My family and I came to Beech Mountain to take our girls (8 and 6 years old) on their first ski trip. We came to Alpine Ski center for all of our rental needs. JD (manager) and his staff were over and beyond accommodating. They were exceptionally helpful in giving their advice and experience for my kids, sizing them up and getting them what they needed. My wife and I have been doing this all of our lives and both agreed that JD and his crew were some of the nicest, most helpful and easy to get along with people we’ve experienced in the business. They were just all around great folks that provided an exceptional experience. Equipment was great. We had zero problems with any of the boots or ski’s we rented from them and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Kids had a great first time and outing. JD even put the Frozen movie on the tv for the kids while we were getting fitted and all paid for.

Great folks and rental shop. Can’t say enough about our experience with them. I would highly recommend going to see JD and his crew at Alpine if you go to Beech Mountain area and need rentals.

Amazing staff. Older dude with glasses who helped us with our bindings was one of the nicest most genuine people we have ever encountered. Very helpful, literally made our vacation with his kindness. Will be back and recommend for sure.

Knowledgeable friendly staff! They helped assemble the hardware of my families personal snowboards and , C.J the manager, gave me helpful tips to get longevity out of my gear. Highly recommend this place.

They were really busy, but the folks were quick to help. They were very helpful in selecting gear and getting us fitted correctly, I definitely recommend them. The prices were reasonable to boot.

We got new boots and they are great! They didn't have a lot of inventory left, but my daughter and I were able to both find our sizes in boots. I was disappointed that I didn't purchase others until I came in!

Our Family stayed a couple of nights at Beech Mtn. around Jan. 21 of 2014. We decided to rent our equipment at Alpine Ski Center. Upon entering, the staff was very friendly and accomodating. the equipment was great for rental, especially the boots! When we returned our equipment, JD Hamilton and the staff went above and beyond by helping us unload our equipment and truly appreciated our business. We stopped by Saturday evening to see if they had baskets for ski poles. They indicated that they did not sell them but were very helpful in finding a solution and were also very responsive and professional in helping with waxing a set of skis. We are on the mountain often and stop in occasionally and always experience professional and helpful service. Thanks for your help Saturday evening around 5:30ish PM.

We botched our equipment pick up before our trip and the staff here was so accommodating. Every single person we talked to was laid back and friendly. They will be the only company we rent ski equipment from in NC.
