Bayou Smokehouse & Grill

The catfish was fabulous. The steak was really good. Prices are about like any other nice place to eat. Will for sure be going back. The wait staff was good and kept drinks full. Or was a semi busy evening. The music is good and not too loud. They have a pool table. They gave a neat general store attached. I love to shop while I wait on my food. You can have a drink at the bar or get a table. The bathroom was very clean. We really liked it there. My grandson at and colored and really enjoyed himself too.

Food was Great, our server Zach was Excellent. Nice atmosphere, we ate outside, weather was perfect. We had VooDoo pasta, they did not have Parmesan cheese so My husband said it was a little blind but still good. I had BLT cheeseburger with fries , burger was cooked perfect and it was delicious. The Sweet tea is good.

Went for drinks and dinner. Ordered smokehouse burger and Cajun fries. Burger was huge and fries spicy! Also shrimp creole. Husband liked it a lot. Way too much rice. Needed more creole and shrimp. Drinks good, and destroyed the beef nachos yum and waiter fun! Also there to watch the Stanley Cup playoffs. Would go there again. This was our first time.

This was our first of many visits to come! Everyone was friendly, the food was fast, hot and correct. I love that the menu has not only Cajun food but also Texas food too 😁 We will definitely be back.

Excellent all around. Delicious, eclectic menu. We just love this spot, we go anytime we're within 500 miles. Hit it this time on our way back from Tenn. Its worth the trip.

Our server Blake was on point with his recommendation of the brisket. Portion size could have been slightly larger but was cooked awesomely. Karaoke on Friday if you’re into that type of thing. Everyone was having a good time.

After stumbling into this little oasis of joy. I ended up meeting the best server I’ve ever laid my eyes on, Zack was unceasingly funny, and had my ribs about to crack, with his humorous retorts and flavorful remarks on the food. The barflies across the way were very helpful and directed me towards the table. And when the food came, I wasn’t disappointed. I was so impressed that I emptied my bank account for a tip.

This place was so neat! The food was SO FREAKING GOOD! My husband got the Voodoo wings, a little salty but good sized and meaty. He also got the fried crawfish tails which were awesome. I had the Salad Evangeline. Perfect for anyone that loves salad, fried green tomatoes, and seafood.

Just checking back to see how the restaurant looks under the new owners. We had the grilled chicken sandwich, double dogs both sandwiches were quite large), collards and fries. Much the same as it used to be and very good. Decor is much the same.

We were camping in Banner Elk and wanted an evening out. This restaurant was perfect for that. The food and service were excellent. There is a big bar and even a pool table inside.

A huge bonus was that another restaurant was having a special event and had Rev On, The Foreigner Experience on the band stand. Our seats were perfect. Dinner and a show.

We brought a Boykin Spaniel and she was welcome.

In town to enjoy some snow and slopes for the weekend. Googled this place and had to try it. We ordered the southern style and red chili wings as an appetizer. Absolutely delicious! Well seasoned and cooked perfect. The ranch is also very tasty! Catfish dinner with red beans and rice and collards were my main dish. Very flavorful. Did not disappoint at all! Ordered the voodoo pasta and smokehouse combo to take back to our cabin. Got to try a locally brewed honey amber beer and cider it probably one of the best I’ve had! Our waiter Blake was very attentive and on top of everything for us. Everything on the menu looked good and we couldn’t decide but he was very patient with us and even recommended a few dishes for us. Hands down a 5/5! The overall vibe and atmosphere is welcoming,
The music playlist is fire, the food and service and top notch! The drinks are great. If you are ever in this area, do yourself a favor and stop by! You won’t be disappointed. Lots of tvs to watch sports and a pool table as well!

The food comes in large portions and is incredibly tasty. Very well spiced and flavorful. We loved everything we got here for lunch. The atmosphere felt like a typical Mount bar/grill, with some tasteful music. Service was friendly.

Great atmosphere, music, and service. I had the brisket, which was great, but a bit spicy for me. The zucchini fries with house made remoulade sauce were fantastic. I'd definitely recommend it.
There's an attached little store with multiple alcoholic options if you're looking for something to take home.

Me my Ma, & Ethan went up to Sugar Creek Mountain to go Gem Mining n a Special Girl tht worked their refured us to this place n we absolutely loved it. A little pricey but well worth it, hot n fresh great waiter. Definitely go here n have a beer n some food. The music was also very entertaining and the people here are very sweet n kind. Thanks you guys for having us

Me and my boyfriend were visiting from Georgia and decided to dine in here. The service from Alex was amazing and the food was also great! We will definitely be back in on our next trip to the mountain :)
The voodoo pasta is soooo good

Phenomenal service and food! This place runs like a well oiled machine both times we have been. Staff is friendly and looks like they are have a good time! The voodoo wings are my favorite.

The red beans and rice is amazing!!! The jambalaya was as good as what i have eaten in Louisiana. Server was knowledgeable and efficient. Is already planning another trip back

The menu had a good selection of different foods. The bbq platter was good all the way through. The BBQ was smoked well.

The Cajun platter was great. Plenty of shrimp and good chunks the sausage. The gravy 🤌 but that gumbo...when she told me it was hot ooh is it spicy. But the flavor!

It's definitely worth a visit

This a must see place to eat and enjoy some good Texas/Louisiana style cooking. Get here early, as this place fills up fast, especially on college game day. Indoor and outdoor seating, food is very good, price/portion size is good and you will not leave hungry. These folks know how to feed ya. Our server John was a blast, fun and friendly and always checking to see if you we needed anything. Great atmosphere great food and plenty of fun.
