Valle de Bravo Mexican Grill 2

Food and service was amazing. Took leftovers home and had it later in the night and it tasted just as good! My boyfriend got the pollo ranchero and says the spice used for the ranchero sauce was uniquely refreshing. The guacamole that came with my meal was soooo good as well, perfect amount of spice. Will return back when we visit banner elk again.

First visit to Valle de Bravo. As a local, we haven't had Mexican in Banner Elk since Puerto burned. We had been snowed in and wanted something different but close. Valle de Bravo had a big crowd due to all the skiers but since we were a two-top we were seated right away. Servers were quick and nice. This restaurant is a bit small so you may have a wait. Food came out in 10 minutes despite the crowd. It was hot, and tasty. Unless you are eating authentic cuisine, most Mexican restaurants and the menus are the same. That being said, we were very pleased with our experience, the service, and the food quality.

Food was amazing! They did really well in accommodating our party of 7! Food was great! The burgers in the kids menu came with really good fries not burnt or bland! The Aguas de horchata and Jamaica were divine not to sweet lime other places! My favorite was that they have corn tortillas that are not store bought and they smell delicious! Everything was great waitress was nice and attentive!

I've been about 6 times over the past 2 months. The food is consistently very food and quick! Between my friends and myself we've tried a variety of dishes and everyone has been very satisfied.

The new salsa bar is a great addition! Most are spicy, so be prepared. The service has been great just about every time I've visited. Definitely becoming a regular place to eat for me.

The salsa bar and chips were excellent, our waiter was friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious!! The prices were very reasonable. Definitely somewhere I would come again in the future!

Valle de Bravo is a great choice for Mexican food in Banner Elk. I was surprised to see the negative reviews on here after my dining experience. A friend said it was good and invited me out. The service and food both exceeded my expectations. Friendly staff and good food. We really enjoyed the salsa bar. It was busy but we were still served promptly and never felt ignored. I would absolutely return.

Glad we didn’t listen to the 1 star reviews. Went as a family of 4 for dinner. We were seated right away, the food was all delicious with good portions, and the server was very kind. They even had a salsa bar with lots of dips to choose from. They were all great! All around wonderful experience. Don’t hesitate to visit!

Ok, I was shocked. Wanted Mexican but didn’t want to drive all the way into Boone. Decided to give Valle De Bravo a try. First the margarita was great and needed. The menu is fairly standard with the exception of some soups and a couple steak and seafood dishes that I will have to try later. Went standard this time and got a chicken and shrimp burrito. It was really good. Daughter got shrimp tacos which were great and full is large shrimp. Several tables around us got fajitas and they smelled so good. Was not crowded when we got there but was by the time we left every table was full. For someone between Boone and Banner Elk this place should be a go to.

Every time we go snowboarding we come to this place, the food is great, and the service too, they're always friendly, make sure to check out the soups, I really liked the seafood one

Valle de Bravo is my favorite mexican restaurant in the Banner Elk area. I've eaten here multiple times and it's been great every visit.

The food was excellent, the staff were very accommodating even to a party of twelve! Best taco salad I've had in quite a while. Would definitely recommend and come back if in the area!

Our food tasted amazing. Even with a to go order, we were given huge portions. Very reasonable prices for the quantity you get, without skipping out on the quality as well.

We ate here Thursday evening, October 13, 2022 and we were very impressed with our experience. The salsa was probably the best I’ve ever had. The food was amazing. And everyone was so nice and with everyone so short staffed these days it was nice to be treated so well and see everyone working with smiles on their faces. We will definitely make it a regular when we are in town.

I’m confused by the one star reviews this place received. My husband and 2 daughters just went and had a wonderful experience. Staff was very kind and responsive (refilled chips and waters). I ordered the chicken fajitas and my husband ordered chicken chimichanga and we both walked out very full and satisfied! I’m glad I ignored those 1 star reviews…makes me wonder if there was something wrong with the guests rather than the staff at the restaurant. We will definitely recommend Valle de Bravo to others and come back when we are in town!

This was our second time here. Even though there were two major festivals going on in the area and they were really busy, we were seated right away and served just as quickly. Our food was hot, accurately prepared and REALLY good. Drinks were refilled without request and we were checked on throughout our meal by a couple of different people. We will DEFINITELY be back!

Really great food and excellent service! Our party of six was seated quickly, and our server was patient with us throughout our lunch. You never know about Mexican food when you go to a new town, but Valle de Bravo did not disappoint! Highly recommend the cheese dip!
