Black Cat Burrito

Updated March 2, 2024. My wife and I love to dine hear. We stopped by around 6:50pm. It was packed as usual that time of night. So we decided to walk around a bit and came back around 7:45pm. We both had their Build your own Burrito. You start by selecting the tortilla you'd like. We both chose spinach. Next, your bean selection. You also have a variety of proteins and veggies to chose. The meal comes with a choice of salsa, chips and their delicious slaw. I'd recommend the mango salsa. Also, I'd recommend getting extra slaw for 50 cents. Tonight, as always, our meals came out very fast. Both our meals were delicious. My wife always has ½ her meal left over, so we get a to go box. I'm full after all that food. I'd highly recommend.

2022. They closed for a bit and so happy they reopened. 1st time I've ever parked directly outside the front door. Meant to take a picture of food. Had burrito so not much of a picture to show. Food excellent. Seating comfortable. I'd highly recommend. Enjoy.

this place is AWESOME! me and my friends loved everything here. Sadly my girlfriend got overpowered by the spice of her burrito. thankfully tho the staff were amazing and totally understood. they let her get something completely new that she could eat. 10/10 we love it here. such a fair price for something worth so much more! also the quesadilla is soooooo good and HUGE!

Very interesting selection of burritos. We had the brotherly love, breakfast burrito and one that had a Thai combo (can't remember the exact name). All were very good and came with a side of slaw. Breakfast one was probably the biggest hit and came very generously filled (and the sausage inside was great). Chips are included but you have to ask for salsa. Place wasn't too busy when we went but it was probably earlier than most were eating dinner. Would definitely recommend checking it out if you're looking for a creative kind of burrito.

A unique twist on Mexican food. Burritos are ginormous and filling. The unique pairings of flavor make you want to try the whole menu. They also have many vegan/vegetarian options too!

It's no surprise that Black Cat is a staple in Boone. It is a must visit. A huge menu of burritos, great salsa, several craft beers on tap, and great queso. The dining area is large and well designed. The staff are friendly and make great recommendations. I went with my 9 year old and the guy helped her pick out a custom burrito order and made a Jarritos flavor recommendation. Will always stop here when hanging in Boone. The staff and patrons were wearing masks when we went.

My husband stated that this was the best burrito he’s ever had in his life! The mango salsa was amazing!!!! Portion sizes are hefty and the taste is tempting. To top it off, the staff was incredible. Thank you!!

Excellent mango salsa, guacomole, and queso with chips. The Lesson of the Sage burrito was fabulous. The roasted broccoli and garlic aioli and rubbed sage made it super tasty.

What a cool place to eat. At first it looked like a little hole in the wall until we stepped inside. Every one in my party enjoyed their meal. I would describe it as an upscale Moe’s that serves beer.

I say Moe’s, but the food was head and shoulders above Moe’s. The place kind of had a bar feel that you could still take your young kids to. Kind of hip, but with really great food.

We will return!

Super fresh tacos and burritos. Love this place. They didnt have beef, guacamole when we visited so we had to order lamb burritos and fish tacos, which were both great.

Excellent burritos and tacos. Not super cheap but well worth it. The Margaritas were good as well.

Great place to hang out. Delicious food. There are various kinds of drinks available as well. Attentive staff, fast service ate kids friendly. Highly recommend.

The food is great. My wife and I got the “don’t be a jerk” burrito and my kids all got kids quesadillas. Everyone was happy and we all left with satisfied and filled tummies!

Great food and very reasonable prices. You order when you walk in then pay. They deliver the order to your table. Simple surroundings but you can't beat the food. I had the nachos with black beans and chicken. The wife had a chicken burrito. We rated them excellent. Highly recommend.

We got nachos, taco salad with mango salsa, and steak tacos- all were delicious! Learned that the vegetarian chili was seasonal though. Came back another time and got the fish tacos, yum!

Delicious food, creative menu, excellent customer service, welcoming vibe and dog friendly which is amazing. Zorba the Greek with lamb was my choice and it did not disappoint. Eat here, you’ll love it.

Great food! Sat at the bar. Bartender was knowledgeable, friendly and quick. Beers were cold and good variety. We had burrito and enchilada. Big portions and delicious. Don't miss out!

This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly. The ambiance is very welcoming and cozy. Food is excellent, some Mexican classics with some twists, and for their prices it’s 100% worth it. The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience.
