Such a cute brunch spot! All the servers are so friendly and bubbly (but Abigail was one of the best servers I’ve met!) and the patio has great seating. Portions are large so each plate is more than enough food. I had the daily quiche (which was so good) and the pancake (which was okay, maybe better if I added blueberries?) and had lots to take home. Would recommend just for the atmosphere and the tea!

An easy Sunday morning breakfast while exploring the blue ridge mountains! On a whim, stopped here during an early morning drive and very happy with the choice. The food was light yet fulfilling. The pancakes were that perfect blend of crispy and soft goodness. Fresh eggs plus orange juice and my stomach was happy and ready for the day’s adventures!

I can't recommend this little restaurant enough. The atmosphere is relaxing. The food is delicious, and the coffee is perfect. Our server, Grace, is delightful and gave excellent service. Best place in Boone for breakfast!

My family and I visited over the Memorial day weekend. The place was PACKED, and for good reason! The food was amazing! We're so glad we waited, it gave us time to walk around and check out the shops nearby, and they had a convenient website that allowed us to keep track of the wait list so we could return in time. The server spoke very clearly and answered all of our questions, took and entered our orders accurately, and got the six of us our food quickly and kept our drinks full :) We had a great time, the pricing was reasonable, we couldn't have been happier! 10/10, Definitely recommend!

I absolutely love this place!!! It's great to have a restaurant that offers wonderful, healthy options for brunch. I highly recommend trying the stuffed ones French toast!!

We have been at Melanie’s several times while visiting Boone! This visit we had about a 45 minute wait for brunch and realized after 30 mins that others coming after us were being seated outside when it had not been offered to us which was disappointing. Our server was attentive and the food was pretty good. Lots of vegan/vegetarian options. The house made veggie burger was one of the best I’ve had. The grilled cheese sandwich and soup was on the small size as far as portions go. The tempeh scramble was yummy! Biscuits were over baked so I would opt for another bread choice next time. Overall I would recommend and go back. Prices were on the higher side for the quality of some of the entrees but there is a large menu with lots of options.

This time was amazing. The eggs were a bit disappointing, but everything else was so tasty that I didn't really think about it. I mean, the service and atmosphere were great. I think that it is rare these days to get such great service. We will be back.

Very good! I loved the mix-matched tables and chairs, cloth napkins, and kitschy mugs. The food was great and I loved the variety of vegetarian options. I had the pimento cheese grits and my husband had the eggs Benedict. My only regret was not getting the ginger-lemon tea. It had fresh chunks of ginger and lemons. Everything was super fresh and staff was attentive.

Came here with a group of 5 on a Sunday morning and was pleasantly surprised to be seated right away.

The service was fast and friendly, the food was fresh and tasty. I looooved my avocado bacon Benedict.

As a side note, their pimento cheese is on the spicy side!

I ordered a biscuit breakfast sandwich with added Canadian bacon, while my friend had coffee, and eggs Benedict with avocado and bacon. My biscuit was large with a good amount of egg on it. My friends egg Benedict was perfectly cooked, each egg was nicely runny and coated the avocado and bacon.

My husband and I were on a mini vacation getaway in Boone, and we came in for brunch on a Sunday. The service was great! Only thing is, we did have to wait about 40 minutes because they don’t take reservations, but we understand it’s a small restaurant with limited seating. But Everything was delicious! Everything from our hot chocolate to our French toast and waffle was amazing! Whenever we’re in Boone again we will definitely be back!

Great food! Came by Saturday for lunch and had about a 1 hour wait. But there's a lot up and down the strip to entertain yourself, and it was totally worth the wait.

The bacon avocado Benedict was fantastic on Melanie's bread instead of an English muffin. Husband loved the Ruben. And mimosas were well made (more like how you make them at home!)

All staff was very nice! Will absolutely come back!

Finally got to try this place! The stuffed french toast was so good! I definitely recommend!!!

We were in town to tour App State. Service was excellent, we were asked 6 times or so if we needed more coffee. For breakfast, I would say the menu is creative while also delivering staples one would expect. The restaurant itself is like being in retro kitchen inside, great vibe. Outdoor seating as well. I would certainly go back again as a first choice destination for breakfast.

First time visiting Boone and we are starting off strong with this amazing restaurant! The wait time wasn’t too bad and the inside is so beautiful. The staff is soo friendly! Our server was the best! She was very attentive and was well versed on the menu. The food was amazing and definitely tasted homemade. We loved it here and will continue to make a stop here everytime we visit!

Great food! The burger I had was fantastic and my wife’s biscuits and gravy looked amazing. You get a good amount of food and I love how local so much of the menu is. We came in right at noon and had no wait to sit down! Great eating in downtown Boone.

This was delicious! We were on a girl's trip and decided to have breakfast at Melanie's and we were all so happy with our choice. First, the hostess was wonderful! We called ahead and even though we weren't going to make it out for about an hour she started a wait-list for us. She then made sure to save an outdoor and indoor table for us to choose from. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable and the food! Oh my was it good. I ordered the fruit waffle and it was crispy yet soft. The stuffed french toast was awesome. Every one of us enjoyed it. We will def go here again next time we visit!

Visiting Boone and decided to try a local breakfast restaurant. Sunrise Grill was closer to us, but did not realize they were closed on Tuesday's. So we decided to check out Melanie's and glad we did!!

Seated immediately, love the colorful decor - tables, chairs and cloth napkins. Friendly staff, quick service, excellent food, hot fresh coffee, delicious fresh fruit, and homemade apple butter.

Recommend and will visit again!

The food here is amazing! My son and I had the corned beef hash, which is the best I've ever had. The presentation is next-level and the service was top-notch. Audrey did a fantastic job as our server, and all the staff was super cheerful. Melanie's is a must-visit whenever we're in Boone.
